When the losers have been cleaning your clock, who’s the collection of losers then?

I don’t think the captain intentionally rammed the iceberg.

As long as you’re still taking the high road, they’re still the losers. At a certain point, when the population can’t be converted to rational though and actions, the nation’s gone. We might just be there, or very close to it.

Politics is about the art of winning. But one must define what "winning" means. Among rational people, it can never mean simply electing people with a certain political label, regardless of what they stand for.
There can be no "winning," if it is at the price of the ethnic heritage of the mainstream American. We need to eliminate any such approach from our consideration--it is not worthy of the wonderful heritage that we have been losing.

I do not think you are crazy at all. Emotions trumps logic every time with the uneducated voter. I have been saying much the same as you in my posts.
I had mentioned Dennis Miller as someone who could connect with the voters we are not attracting now. He is conservativve, articulate and funny and is quick and glib on the late night shows. He also has kind of a latino look about him and can jive talk. What else do you need to win the presidency anymore?
Our problem is we vote for principled conservatives. Would we vote for a candidate who has mass appeal but not as solid on the issues as we would like?
In other words would we ‘wink-wink’ vote for a sock puppet on the right just like Obummer was the sock puppet for the left?

Not intentionally but they thought it was unsinkable.
After it rammed most of the elite had a seat on the rafts.

“Not intentionally but they thought it was unsinkable.”
I think you’re being too charitable to the current captain of our Titanic.
