Reloading, Shotguns and Veteran Aid - This Week on Gun Talk Radio

Mandeville, LA – It’s reloading, shotguns and rifles, a veteran aid group, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Founded by a group of military wives in 2006, Hope for the Warriors’ mission is to “enhance quality of life for U.S. service members and their families nationwide who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty”. Co-Founder, President and CEO Robin Kelleher drops by with info on the various programs offered, including the Outdoor Adventures Program that provides adaptive outdoor activities for service members and their families, like a recent turkey hunt for spouses of fallen or wounded service members: http://bit.ly/SOXVkt. To donate, volunteer or find out more, visit http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org/.

Waterfowl hunting season is the perfect excuse to start reloading. Shawn Wozniack at MEC Reloaders is here to explain how to get started! For more, visit http://www.mecreloaders.com/.

Besides ammo, a good shotgun or rifle it also needed during hunting season. Mossberg’s Tom Taylor stops by Gun Talk Sunday to discuss some of their offerings on the market, like the new Flex System shotgun. Build your own at http://flexyourmossberg.com/, or head over to the main site at http://www.mossberg.com/ for more information on all the new products

Yep! A turkey sandwich with stuffing and some mince pie.

As good as it gets for me.

I almost convinced myself to get that 12 ga Stevens pump for $169 at Wally World, but decided against it. Will probably just put in more 9X18 ammo instead.

Did you get anything?

Ordered a Bushnell Elite for it. Can’t wait to get to the range.

A 20 Ga O/U would be grand, but I really am kicking myself for not grabbing a 20 Ga Saiga.

You just can’t find them now

Nothing here.
I hear Dicks Sporting Goods had 50% off on all ammo.

That would have been worth camping out for.

You picked the right caliber too.

Looks like it will be a good “all around” rifle.

Turkey morning up in the mountains. A little bit of hunting, a huge campfire breakfast..... elk, venison, deer sausage, bacon, eggs, pan fried toast. Turkey dinner at home much later in the day.

Govt. bought up a lot of the hollow point ammo. Course, you got to consider you might need a certain amount of ammo that will penetrate body armor too.

OMGoodness! I looked kolache up, and it would be very tempting to go crazy-off my low-carb diet, but I can’t.

Sigh...

But that’s not as important as getting to jawbone with you for a while. And you can shoot the PS90 in the back yard, finally.

I hope to. I’ve got a buddy that has a place outside of Uvalde. Went to the range today to zero his 338 Marlin Express. I can tell you now, I don’t want one of those. That thing kicks harder than any rifle I’ve ever shot. And he has the scope mounted a little too high so you can’t get a good cheek weld.

That’s the Czech stuff.
I got to bring a proper Orthodox Christmas Kolache..

I can’t believe you never had one.

Your area is the last place it survives.

It is typically a nut roll.
Its often done with poppy seeds.
Sometimes its apricot.
Cheese and pineapple is really nice, but I like the traditional Christmas nut roll slathered with butter and dunked in coffee.
