Except of course, virtually all about Mitt that you call disaster scarcely registered at all in the actual vote — as I predicted for months and you even admitted.

Where Mitt’s campaign lacked was projecting enthusiasm at the end. For whatever reason, he played prevent defense when the turnout wasn’t yet in the bag for him.

We lost because we ran a lefty weirdo, who doesn’t even belong in republican politics, and who switched party registration during the Reagan years.

To see Obama switch to gay marriage, and us defending the bible definition of marriage with the liberal Governor who gave us gay marriage and is a leader in the infamous Mormon cult founded on polygamy, was bizarre, to try and counter Obama’s extraordinary vanity, with a man who literally believed he is becoming a God, was freaky, to counter Obamacare we nominated the man who created Obamacare, to keep the military from being homosexualized, we pushed forward the guy who is for it, and who has been calling for for homosexualizing the military for 20 years, this list of similar absurdities between the two is long, very long.

Beam me up Scotty, the 2012 GOP/Democrat battle, was a surreal experience.

What do you mean? That Romney equaled 2008?

Third parties got surprisingly few “disgust with Romney” votes. And the skeletons in Mitt’s political closet just weren’t publicly socialized, the few exceptions being Barack’s illogical accusations that Mitt was too liberal.

ABO
I call it rolling the dice. It should had never been done; it was a mistake. If they do a anybody campaign again, we will have another difficult time in the next election You don’t throw part of your convictions out from the blueprint of your ideology ( as in having a person who was so odd to begin with- Romneycare-Gay marriage-which I do get the states rights though Romney said he was proud of those laws). Then, in turn to expect people to be enthusiastic and supportive of a mutual cause. That was a no winning formula in making a group of our base to not believe in him.

I believe the GOP already had chosen Romney when they told Palin they were not going to give her the support of the party to make a run. That caused her to move on. Palin even said she needed the party’s support and later admitted on Greta that they were not going to help her. I was disappointed she said ABO. She is smart though a young leader that has to mature.

You want a good person of character of course though if the situation comes, you have to show grace and forgiveness when a person has human flaws. People will never get perfection or a saint. A flawed man or woman that has been at the bottom and repented can make a great leader as well. I don’t know if the GOP will ever change. If they run on the conservative ideas, overtime, the base would begin to trust them again. People respect strength and in those willing to stand firm. Obama is everything Newt warned us of. This election should had been an all out fight for America. Anger of the Obama corruption was not front and center. Obama could have beaten. It is a nightmare because he will move further left.

actually 7 days is vital...our military doesnt fight 6 days when the enemy never takes a day off..they work 24/7...and they have been abused by both parties...we have 300000 troops while the EU has 1.2 million ? who is really carrying the military load right now...those we SAVED in europe from the axis or a military designed by bushs rumsfeld the loser ?....romney thought he could win it HIS WAY...and he lost...those who won in WW2, who understood what winning meant, are passing on...and the 3/10s of 1% of the population that defends america are being squeezed by the 99% who dont join the military...

Mitt was in as good a position as anyone to stomp Big Ears. He put too little enthusiasm into it. There were so many opportunities to pillory Barack from pillar to post for his insane ideas, his meshuganah memes. And Mitt just let them sit there.

7 days full of the wrong assumptions is no better than 6 and might even be worse. You poke at Mitt because he was a sabbath keeping Mormon, because you don’t believe the Mormons are correct. But what if he were of some faith that you believe is correct?

Romney just lost an election that no one could lose, what is it that you are saying about him and the vote, the result speaks for itself.

Jimmy Carter, on the verge of a depression after a disastrous 4 years, and millions of his voters not choosing him this time, handed the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, republican liberal, who has a single election victory to show for 20 years of campaigning, his head.

Well, it’s like the preacher who wanted to go on vacation, and when a parishioner scolded him that Satan never rested, answered “Satan is not my example.”

I don’t buy Mormon theology, I say it’s wrong, but I can say that Mormons still get blessed through common grace when they do things God’s way even if for the wrong reasons. Same as an atheist would.

LOOK romney didnt understand HOW TO WIN...he lacked imagination...and his personel choices were so BAD he deserved to lose....the republican party sadly is still populated by idiots like bohner who has strengthened his hold over power by eliminating conservatives as easily as he crys MOMMY...the PETRAEUS AFFAIR was a message from OBAMA to the other republican sinners and you can bet there are plenty of them.....

He did not pump the enthusiasm of his base (and I already defined base, above, which happened to be larger than Barack’s base) well enough to get the appropriate proportions of those people to the polls. Much of that base itself got suckered into the idea that Mitt would be an easy win.

And with the way you fling blame all around, I fear you will be part of the problem, not the solution, when the next GOP contender comes around.

I was serious.

Do you think any Republican could have won?

Name him—or her.

If you think that the NEW voters are ever going to vote conservative then you are delusional. There is a huge underclass out there of perpetually pissed off minorities blaming us for there woes and demanding we take care of them. They have more votes.

Amnesty is next. The democrats will get 10-15 million new votes with that alone.

It’s no joke—but rather very depressing and sad.
