Unfortunately, I believe this plays right into the hand held by the (ObamaZombie) collectivists.
Not enough doctors? Okay, lets mandate a lowering of standards such that more “deserving” students can play doctor.
That also serves the redistribution plan because now these pseudo-doctors can make a “living wage” just like all those successful doctors that graduated at higher standards (and left the profession in disgust!)

I agree, but the left did a good job demonizing ‘those rich doctors’, and defending our profession was made to seem entirely self-interested and ‘about money’. In addition, those docs who have a soap box tend to be those who don’t see patients and who spend all their time as politicians, ‘leadership’ in professional societies, making the rest of our lives miserable while they prop themselves up. It’s a long story, but the minute the idea that ‘medicine is a right’ was allowed to be voiced without vociferous rejection, it was only a matter of time until they pushed to make it a legal entitlement.
And they could have done what?
I know many doctors and have 4 in my family. Absolutely none of them or their partners or their doctor friends support Obamacare and never have.
As for this doctor whining, he's spot on. My brother-in-law, an Oncologist on Detroit's east side had to leave his medical group and go on staff at a local hospital he worked out of because medicare and medicaid were not reimbursing him for the full cost of the chemo therapy drugs he had to administer to his patients......
And as a side note, most of the born and bred American doctors are vehemently opposed to Obamacare, its the foreign doctors that come from countries like India and the middle east who become Democrats and support socialized medicine......

I believe you have a misguided opinion of your doctor's likely love for Obamacare or his/her ability to have overturned it.
Since I presume you're a conservative voter and conservative voters failed to prevent the reelection of Obama, should I charge you with selling your soul and having only yourself to blame?
The AMA speaks for a small minority of physicians and is held in contempt by most of us. But you knew that already, because you obviously know all about physicians and their motivation. All the good docs I know are currently planning their exit strategies. There may be a day in the near future when despite you self made preventive care program you will find yourself in a life threatening excruciatingly painful condition. You will probably want a doc around then-even a whiney one would probably do. Good luck with that. You may be able to see a PA with 2 years training compared to my 7 years. But even they may be scarce
