I wonder if criminals were polled what party they would identify with? For what it's worth:
I once asked by brother-in-law (Now deceased) that same question. He had spent a 23 year stretch of his life in prison, after he got out he spent the last 15 years or so of his life serving the Lord.
He told me that the cons he had know pretty much reflected society as a whole, with the younger ones being more liberal and the older ones being more conservative.
