Iron Dome coproduction would benefit not only the U.S.-Israel bilateral relationship, by lowering the cost per unit for both countries and promoting closer integration within the alliance, but could be expected to provide a boost to the American economy.
A boost to the American economy?
Obama will kill it.

I thought it was an off chute of the U.S. Patriot Missile System.

"Terrorist organizations around the world have the same capabilities as Hamas and Hezbollah, making the Iron Dome useful to all nations." No! No other nations except Israel is expected to endure constant bombardment of their cities by terrorists. Other nations will do a "Dresden", "Hamburg" or "Tokoy". Problem solved!
PS. Yesterday Syria/Assad bombed a hospital in Aleppo - 40 killed. Have we seen the long-haired, shawl covered demonstrators out in force on our streets?

Iran and Russia have been going to school for the past few weeks and are preparing ways to thwart Iron Dome.

Israel needs to enable the auto-counter battery fire feature, and leave it turned on.

Taiwan and South Korea could use something like that too.
Seoul being within range of a lot of North Korean crap would seem like an obvious place to deploy

Forget the R&D improvements, at least until after we make a bunch for ourselves. Buy the rights to manufacure, assuing we don’t already have an agreement to that effect, since we helped pay for the R&D as well as the Israeli procurement. IIRC.
