Nothing wrong with preparing one's soul for the Day of Judgment, but claiming to know when is arrogant and foolish.
But Christ goes on to say be on the look out...
Mark 13
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Too many of those who reject end times ministry focus on the “no man knows” and ignore the “watch”!
We have been given the signs and prophesies so we can recognize the end when it is coming. Sure looks like it is beginning to me!
The spiritually mature regenerated believer-disciple-priest is not ignorant of Satan's devices. He/she ought to know when the hour is upon us, through watching, praying, and listening to the voice of the Holy Ghost which is The God's Immutable, Inspired, Infallible, Verbal, Plenary, Available-in-every-age, Preserved, and Present Word.
The God is omniscient but mute??? I suspect not, and have seen the scenario described by this article ripening in a way never before observed, whatever the preterists say.
As a commissioned immersionist disciple, pledged to teach and keep watchfully secure and complete (in the Gk 'tayrehoh') whatsoever He has commanded.
