Well, I tell you, assuming that we do have another election in the future, which I suppose we will, I’ll have no choice but to vote GOP, even at this point.

There doesn’t seem to be anything else forming or occuring so it is what it is.

That being said, I’m keeeping my money, no donations, I don’t support them they don’t support me, I don’t like them, and they don’t like me.

It’s literally a wonderful relationship ;/

The only problem with Rove is that he has GOPe written all over him.

That S just isn’t going to play anymore.

If he starts trying to speak from authority in the future, he’ll either be laughed or kicked off the stage.

Karl Rove is just a symptom of a system where politics has become nothing more than a high-stakes game of triangulating the electorate for votes. They all do it. The day after the election there was a flurry of handwringing articles about taking abortion, illegal immigration, taxes etc off the table in order to create a kinder, gentler GOP, more suited to today’s voter. Heck, why not just give em free phones too.

Yes, the Republican Party is in trouble. It’s a sad day when the establishment, moderate candidate tells the truth about why he lost, and the party elite run from that truth.

“No! Entitlement gifts from the Santa Claus president had NOTHING to do with Romney’s loss. It was because we’re too extreme, and we need to moderate... and silence Rush Limbaugh! Yes! Then we’ll win!”

The Republican leadership needs to be swept out.

Karl Rove (and a good number of others) need to be ignored until the end of time. They got us into this mess and some STILL quote them here. Amazing to me.

Hint: The GOP has won only one popular vote since George H.W. Bush rode in on Ronald Reagan's coattails in 1988. What is similar about every candidate since Reagan? What did Bush-41, Bush-43, Dole, McCain, and Romney all have in common? This is indeed an "elephant in the living room" question, because what Rove refuses to see is that the Republican party hasn't run a conservative since 1984. Since then, we have had a never-ending stream of big government, establishment, Rockefeller Republicans--people who think we can out-Democrat the Democrats and in some cases out-bid them for votes. These are people who think government is just fine, that it's only there to help, and that the important thing is not to limit it but to be in control of it. [...]

Establishment Republicans have had their chance, repeatedly, and they have blown it, repeatedly. Let me suggest a strategy that will sweep away all of Karl Rove's tactical concerns: Our next nominee should be a limited government constitutional conservative, someone who will dust off Reagan's winning playbook and use it to motivate the base while picking up independents and blue-dog Democrats along the way. Just like Ronald Reagan did.

Nah. Infinitely simpler to just bleat "Voter Fraud! Voter Fraud! *SQUAWWWWWWK*!!!" over and over and over again, rather than actually surrender (or even reconsider) a failed, retarded electoral strategy directly and demonstrably responsible not only for successive Obama terms, but successive Clinton ones as well.

Rove who I understand was handling the Charter PAC senate campaign played games. His material never warned voters that IF OBAMA GETS RE-ELECTED AND SENATE CONTROL REMAINED . .. OBAMACARE AND ALL THE TAX INCREASES THAT GO WITH IT WILL NEVER GET REPEALED Let alone tie into or cover the formentioned grape shot which would have perhaps changed that body. I don’t recall any of that material directed toward that fact.

Nuts...This loss is inexcuseable, while I truly don’t believe Mitt Romney would never continence losing. I’m begining to wonder if many GOPE’s around him including Rove didn’t want to see O care go away..
