I was wrong and Rush was right about turn out. I was looking at over all turn out when I said that Romney would pass McCain. I did not recognize, in my first analysis, that Romney did considerably better among Independents. I guess Romney did fail to convince enough Conservatives to vote for him, or at least some portion of what is nominally the Right.

There are details that make it totally different.. others like me old enough to remember have said the same.

The MSM went into a frenzy.. TV network news in the evenings sometimes used the full 30-minutes to rehash old stories and add new stories. Newspapers above-the-fold front pages were reserved for Watergate. All this went on for weeks.

If you want an equivalent cover up were an enemy killed Americans and was granted impunity by all -- the MSM, LBJ and Nixon -- and covered-up look at the USS Scorpion and the 99 crewman killed.

2013 INTERCESSION FOR OUR NATION

Our country has been hit with the “stupid stick” in three
critical areas; Complicit Government Media, Leftists Educational
Indoctrination and Big Labor Bullies. A whole lot more is wrong,
but I see these three as most damaging. In order to turn this
ship (if it’s not too late), we need to recapture education
from the village up. Fads are forced down to the little
people from the top, but real trends start from the street
corner. If we can reclaim our youth incrementally, the media
and labor problems might resolve themselves.

Below are some of my ideas. I’d appreciate your suggestions on how
best they can be accomplished.

1. PRAY FOR individual conservative AND liberal media personalities
BY NAME. I inserted Chris Matthews as an example. This needs
to go viral.

FATHER GOD, I ask that YOU pour YOUR SPIRIT of TRUTH on Chris Matthews. Open HIS eyes to see that YOU are GOD. Cause HIM to fear YOU and to recognize YOUR fundamental TRUTH and the damage media lies have caused our country and future generations. Cause him to believe and to be saved. IN JESUS NAME!

2. PRAY FOR students to turn their critical thinking and
skepticism toward their professors and teachers.

FATHER GOD, I ask that YOU pour out a SPIRIT of WISDOM and discernment over our youth. Open their eyes so they can see who is for them and who is against them. Give them a desire to investigate for themselves rather than repeat what they’ve been told. IN JESUS NAME.

… AND …

OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS. We have to recapture the minds of the
youth or at least give them an informed choice between
conservatism and liberalism. They only hear one side and
it’s mostly about “Social Justice” and “Evil Capitalists”.
Could “we” provide a scholarship program based on completing
and passing online courses in Founder’s History, Economics
and Civics?

3. BUSINESS OWNERS suffer under labor unions and their
stronghold in politics. To keep current and add value,
teachers and businesses continually train and upgrade
their staff and employees. Business owners would be doing
themselves a favor by giving incentives to employees who
take and pass the same Economics, Civics and Founder’s
History classes from the student scholarship program.

Ignorance is our worst enemy. Many will refuse to embrace
conservative ideas, but those who do will empower our nation.

We will now have the Fundamental Transformation that Obama wanted and will take many more years than many of them have left on this earth to overturn, if it is even able to still do. I am of the opinion that many voters STILL do not view the full picture when entering that voting booth and that is what is sad to me. The Ill-Informed Voter will be the death of this great country.
