Life is like a box of chocolates. It's fattening and raises your blood sugar. That's why I developed a death wish.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Run, Forrest! Run!

Since when is it up to us, or the UN, or anyone outside of Syria, to decide who is the "legitimate representative" of the Syrian people? Seems to me it's up to the Syrians and no one else.

It is always interesting to read different reports on what Hillary Clinton is doing in the middle east. Most especially since our JonStewart media is blood-hounding a sexcapade story.

The US is backing the Muslim Brotherhood. Once Assad is overthrow, the Islamists in Syria, Egypt, Lebanon and Libya plus maybe a bonus of Jordan can get on with the project of forming a Greater Caliphate and unify in an attack on Israel to eliminate those troublesome Jews that Obama so hates. A truce with nuclear Iran can probably be arranged for the greater good of eliminating Israel.

Many Americans think that “DEMOCRACY” is a transcendent value in and of itself. Democracy sinmply gives expression of the will of the people, for good or ill. For instance, if a given society approves of cannabilism, then the democratic government will allow the processing and distribution of human flesh.

The Americans and French are going to support a democracy tht reflects 7th Century Barbarism. Democracy is not always a good thing.

Romney echoed the view of the brain trust that lost him the election. It would have been more productive for him to say that he viewed events in the Mid East with great caution, instead of wanting to intervene more aggressively than Obama. Of course, he was strait-jacketed by the views of aggressive interventionists like Lindsay Graham and John McCain, and the things he said during the primaries. However, he could have issued a mea culpa, and changed his mind, given what we’ve seen since then, ranging from Islamists getting super-majorities and events like the Libyan consulate attack.
