Now I read there is a petition to take the signers of the secession request, strip them of their citizenship and deport them. Anyone surprised?
I personally think the fur is about to fly . . .
It will interesting and depressing to watch . . .
These are not official actions of any state. The WH has a place where any citizen- any at all- can put up a petition, and anyone who finds it there can sign it if he wishes to.
On another thread I said that I could start one too, demanding that the WH become vegan, and if enough sign the thing, Obama would read it. Any of you can do the same thing, its like a graffiti wall, with the same weight as a graffiti wall.
If this came from a state legislature, it would be news, as it is its a curiosity that some are presenting as the real deal.
Not surprised, but I am more than certain a left leaning site is probably behind it.
Can we all secede along with our Military, and then regroup around D.C.?
USv2 — fewer bugs, better features.
So If I wanted I could start a petition for my own state or any other state. But this feels like it will be all for show and not real. Like Obama would grant the right. Still it makes a point.
Sorry, heah tiz:
You can start one to ask that anyone signing THAT petition to be forced to listen to John Tesh CDs every morning.
I think the sudden publicity over this is the White House pimping their blog.
Here is the petition to deport the signers of petitions to seced:

I think it’s silly, even if the number of petitioners would fill a football stadium. You should go to We The People and see what important petitions are currently up, there are 108 of them.
One had something to do with getting Limbaugh off Armed Forces Radio and the answer was “no”, not from the president but someone he appointed to answer.
True it could be motivated by the left to give the right a black eye.
Thanks Mozilla!
There could be petitions from both sides of an issue or opinion and it could go on forever..
Has the election of a president ever generated any petitions, let alone this many, in the past?
Sure. No problem.
Can Arizona join Texas? I hope so.
I would say it is rare other than now and in 1861 when the states actually left the union. This re-election of Obama has generated a lot of buzz to leave the union,
Let those states that wish to leave secede from the United States
