#1 message:

DO NOT DEVIATE FROM OUR VALUES!!! NO MORE RINOS!!!!!

If we tee up a real Conservative (Ryan?) we will win.

Do NOT back off. Do NOT become obama claus. Do NOT open the borders and pander to Latinos (they won’t vote Conservative anyway — the Latino vote REDUCED after Reagan signed the amnesty).

Do NOT sacrifice our integrity.

That is the winning formula.

I learned there is no rape exception here. I can accept that but I doubt enough women voters will accept it enough to vote GOP ever again.

The hardest thing for conservative elites to assimilate from this election is the rejection of Romney’s economic message by the voters

To me, that's the most stunning aspect of it all. Romney articulated a positive, optimistic message about an America that rights itself and returns to an era of economic growth and prosperity. Obama, by contrast, attacked Romney 24/7.

So much for the idea that negative campaigning is a turnoff. It may be to some people, but it undeniably works.

This election also showed the fateful tipping point was reached and passed. The ruling majority in America is either of the taker class or a big supporter of it. Either way, it's comprised of people who are strongly of the belief someone else has dibs on much of what you earn.

It also showed Americans are quite willing to overlook the abject failure of Obama in the foreign affairs arena. Averting its eyes to the Benghazi terror attack and the utter failure of the Obama regime during the "Arab Spring" months, voters allowed themselves to be convinced Obama was simply doing a splendid job safeguarding the nation.. when nothing could be further from the truth.

It reaffirmed my disdain for mushy middle "independent" voters, those linguini-spined jellyfish who let the last shiny bling on the way to the polling booth guide their vote. Case in point was that fateful photo op with Obama and his new BFF Christie, bear hugging and mugging before the cameras. Exit polls showed more than 50% of indies who made up their minds just before the election were swayed by that image... regardless of what the actual outcome for the locals turned out to be.

At first glance, Frank Cannon got it about right. Lots of good points above.

I believe the overall message is that the GOP is operating on an old model of marketing and GOTV. Lots have been discussed about GOTV, but the marketing side impacted signiiantly. Many have pointed to Romney being defined all summer by Obama. This is true, and that should have been answered at the time. The bigger issue (as far as how to correct) is to use advertising that gets to the key voters. Obama started running ads on Facebook, newspapers, and other online display ads early in 2012 redefining his economic record as ‘recovery’. They used the famous jobs graph showing job growth starting in the month of his inauguration and growing every month since. There were others. We never countered that argument, thinking people would ignore propaganda and make decisions based on their own situations. That was a poor assumption.

We needed to hammer and reinforce the many areas of damage done as his policies were enacted. We needed to use clips of Obama and Biden predicting their big economic recovery in 2009 and 2010...and then show data that demonstrated they were wrong. In retrospect, I am shocked at how our side let the opposition set the narrative...and that narrative was reflected down the line in election day polls.

GOPe and the RNC are the gang that couldn’t shoot straight.

With their promotion of Romney and total abject failure of support for good and decent candidates like Bachman they shot themselves in the foot. In fact, both feet.

These jackasses went out of their way and spent millions in their pursuit of delivering on quid pro quo after Romney went around papering other Republicans for their flattery and endorsements.

Then they winked at Boehner who wanted payback for a Congress Woman who spoke her mind and was never shy about where she stood and they were very clear in their agenda to see her fail by with holding congressional monies to ensure she would remain competitive.

The just dessert was her prevailing despite open opposition from her own team.

FU Boehner, Blubberer, Cowardly Lion,. With a crappy synthetic tan. If you are opposed in your next race I’m sending money to that person in the hopes to end your self serving carreer....

You too Cantor...

FU Reince Priebus, your stoopit name sounds like some idiotic, greenie, solar Loser product ...

You weren’t one iota better or different than Steele...

Conservatives should not split their vote in the primary elections, they should unite behind one candidate four.

Quick show of hands here...who would rather wallow in permanent political minority status for a generation before making real, serious concessions to libertarians and Ron Paul supporters to form a coalition with them?

Romney was a false messenger bearing false claims. Same as McCain. Neither are conservatives and neither can articulate a believable conservative message.

The lesson is: Don’t run pretend conservatives!!

In retrospect, Romney never articulated WHY he would be better for the economy, and specifically for the voters. Many of them cannot draw conclusions on their own. The critical thinking skills taught in school only deal with which brand of “ISM” to support.

Odd...I seem to recall Ron Paul calling all of the 9/11 truther stuff preposterous during the 2008 debates.

Is that the same way Reagan should have shunned the log cabin republicans? Should conservatives have dropped support for Reagan for accepting donations from them?

” Finally, ask yourself: What Democrat with national stature will be able to replicate Obama’s ability to enthuse and mobilize such a wide and deep coalition? Not Biden, not any of the congressional leaders, nor the governor of any large state. In contrast, we can already see Rubio, Ryan, and (yes) Christie on the GOP side.

Conservatives have a lot to worry about over the next four years. Permanent minority status is not one of them.

— Gerard Alexander is associate professor of politics at the University of Virginia.”

Yeah, we need more Rubios and Christies....

Nothing on stopping voter fraud, just a bunch of pukeneos
spewing the same tired bromides : )

IMO, FUBO won via Massive voter fraud and no one, absolutely no one or any agency in DC, has the spine and guts to expose it

Can we agree that the gutless GOP leadership and the Romney Campaign are all eunuchs?
