5 Reasons Amnesty Would Be Political Suicide For The Republican Party

We’ve already got crap cake.

Any amnesty, blanket or otherwise, rewards lawbreaking, undermines the rule of law, and allows illegals to “jump the line” ahead of people who obeyed the law.

Anything the ‘Pubbies want to do will be stopped by the Senate or the President.

The President will do what he darn well pleases using executive orders or his authority over the executive branch. He doesn’t need Congress anymore...

My reality is that Obummer won the election, gained seats in the Senate and House.....I like your reality much better...

Solving the illegal issue is a start....I’m willing to wait and see what Rubio proposes....

You don't know a thing about the immigration issue. Do a little research on what was in the Hagel-Martinez bill that passed the Senate or McCain-Kennedy. Many of those elements I proposed are actually part of comprehensive immigration reform.

SCOTUS has already upheld the AZ E-verify law. A number of Reps have been proposing many of the other elements of my plan. The major stumbling block has been amnesty.

Again, you continue on with you rant without specifics. Name one element of my plan that WILL NEVER politically happen. Nor do you propose any specific action that must be done to prevent the outcome you allegedly don't want.

Legal immigration reform will not be difficult if it is approached in the form of jobs and skills. Our immigration policies are not serving our national interests and making things worse in terms of unemployment and welfare costs. CA is the canary in the coal mine.

In any event, you are a waste of time. You are not serious about the issue and your arrogrance is only exceeded by your ignorance. Bye.

No immigration policy is going to make it to legislation without a path to citizenship. Not Amnesty, a long multi-year path that requires background checks, fees citizenship classes, testing, taxes etc......

Your plan requires comprehensive enforcement, by who? Eric Holder?
