I am proud to be Jewish and don’t view the dietary restrictions as “restrictions” at all -— but blessings from G-d.

Now, I don’t know why the rules exist, but I know He is good, and that’s enough for me to accept His rules, just like my daughters have learned to accept “because I told you so.”

You do not get freedom of expression or self determination, you live as you are told or you die... Period.

UK immigration hss gone through periods of open access, with periods of restriction. Sadly, Labour 1997-2010 opened the floodgates, although I would point out that the biggest influx in recent years was from Poland and E Europe.

No, the immigrants wont ever come close to taking over. Hell, the blacks and Orientals have been here since just after the war, in fact most Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims came over in the 1950’s to 70’s.

And still:

The UK is 96% NON-Muslim.
The UK is 92-93% white.

If you believe there is a distinction between Wahabbism and “mainstream” Islam.. you truly are a fool.

I deal with many “moderate” muslims, and every one of them once in a position of power ensures there religious “views” are followed by everyone when it applies.. such as with Pork.

There is no such thing as put pork on the buffet and you can’t or don’t want to eat it you skip it, nope the Muslim will every time, demand the pork be completely removed.

There is no live and let live within Islam, now not all Muslim’s follow the tenants completely, but not a damned one I have ever been exposed to does not ensure his religious doctrine rules all when they eventually have the power to exercise it.

I didn’t say anything about the difference between Wahabbism and “mainstream” Islam, which you certainly seem to be familiar with. I said that when it’s “subjugate or die...”, it’s Islamic extremism.

Have you ever seen footage of those guys in the Phillipines who have themselves nailed to crosses in observance of Good Friday? Nobody gets murdered but it’s still a form of religious extremism.

So by my logic (maybe not by yours), in terms of human behavior, if it’s to die by the hand of another Muslim for a lack of subjugation, then that is also Islamic (religious) extremism, not to mention behavioral extremism and because the left hand knows what the right hand is doing, so to speak, it’s completely outside of the norm and just because a Muslim believes it’s “okay” or in keeping with the teachings of the Koran or the will of Allah doesn’t mean it’s right or even civilized.
