Bid for freedom: People from the states marked in red have lodged petitions asking to break away from the rest of the United States since Obama returned to the White House
Although America carried President Obama confidently into a second term last Tuesday - not everyone is jumping for joy at the prospect of four more years.
Tens of thousands have put their names to secession petitions in 20 states, asking that they peacefully become independent from the rest of the country.
The documents have been lodged on a government website We The People - and Texas has almost enough people behind its petition to warrant an official White House response.

I know what you mean but it’s gonna be rough when there are more takers than we can shake a stick at? also to new takers will be receiving and voting by the time your describing.......Mark Belling stated yesterday that yes we usually show up just as much or more in midterm elections but it’s getting tougher at the rate the taker numbers are growing.
For example look at N.E. IL Nov. 6 results, look at the Dem victories there, we are in for some real shit after what happened.

And it’s very sad that the USA we all knew could face such a fate. But maybe, it’s not so bad. Instead of one intact revolutionary socialist/athiest/homosexual, anti-capitalist nation, we could preserve the ideals of the Old USA in the states that still believe in a constitutional republic.
In the end, it isn’t the red states that are trying to leave. This is simply a recognition that the blue states and federal government -have left us-.

My only issue with these petitions is the website they are on. Also the fact that the name and location of everyone who signs it is listed on the site. Secrecy and surprise are much better tactics to waging and winning a revolt. At least when the shit hits the fans Ill know which states to head too.

I have to agree with you unfortunately. If you are for it, who would give up their personal information for this cause.
I would not! That is the problem - they want way too much information and I’m sure that they will sell it to the highest bidder after collection. You can NOT trust any of them..too bad though.

Given the large state ownership by the left in NY and CA then it makes it really almost a given that the Left won and will continue to do so unabated.
Look ahead and factor in a very rapidly reproducing and growing voting block from Hispanics (mostly Mexicans) and the future becomes very bleak indeed.
If you look at the red / blue picture of the USA then what becomes obvious is that the blue needs the red in a big way. Geographically.and financially for sure.
Threatening to separate the red from the blue is a good way to transcend the dirty political BS.
Basically the left has the west coast and the north east of the USA. We could make one hell of a great FREE country with the rest, would we not?

0bama would never let this happen without a fight. The military would be divided which would lead to a bloody conflict. The real danger would come from an opportunistic foreign power that would either invade America or would strike a deal with 0bama to support him with troops if he agreed to be a figurehead dictator while they made all the decisions. Whether that would be Russia, China or Iran, is the question.

Our attorney general and state officials have given the feds flak over a couple big issues already (TSA is one and I think obamacare is another)
