FBI Agent in Petraeus Case Under Scrutiny

EXCERPT

The FBI agent who started the case was a friend of Jill Kelley, the Tampa woman who received harassing, anonymous emails that led to the probe, according to officials. Ms. Kelley, a volunteer who organizes social events for military personnel in the Tampa area, complained in May about the emails to a friend who is an FBI agent. That agent referred it to a cyber crimes unit, which opened an investigation.

However, supervisors soon became concerned that the initial agent might have grown obsessed with the matter, and prohibited him from any role in the investigation, according to the officials.

The FBI officials found that he had sent shirtless pictures of himself to Ms. Kelley, according to the people familiar with the probe.

That same agent, after being barred from the case, contacted a member of Congress, Washington Republican David Reichert, because he was concerned senior FBI officials were going to sweep the matter under the rug, the officials said. That information was relayed to top congressional officials, who notified FBI headquarters in Washington.

Maybe this FBI guy was having an affair with the Florida woman. I think she is married, too. No FBI guy is going to send shirtless pictures to someone already complaining about emails unless he was having an affair with her.

“Rash” and “Weiner” are two words that should never be in the same sentence.

“Oh good grief! This is getting STUPID!”

That is what I said when I read the whole article - “Good Grief!”

The guys running the country need to run the country, and when they leave their office, lock themselves in a room without a computer so they won't write love letter emails and/or expose their private parts to the opposite sex.

Other countries must be loving the daily sex stories and they must have a great deal of respect and fear for our military strength and might - sure-/s. Just run a pretty woman in front of a general and you've won the war for he will be too busy to care about the war.

At this point, put Petraeus and the FBI shirtless guy in prison so they can't taint the country any more. They are the ones representing our country, the women aren't. If it was a woman general or woman FBI, the same rule would apply.

I am truly sick of this for the country.

Maybe the friend was female and she got the cyber squad involved and the initial agent there sent a shirtless picture of himself.

Still, none of this changes the fact that the president watched them die in Benghazi and refused them help until they were well and thoroughly dead. All they needed was for one of those drones to be launched armed. Help wasn’t hours away, it was right there.

Yes, and somehow we have to get back to that basic truth. I fear that we're being lead down the National Enquirer path, littered with shiny objects. Even Fox News is spending more and more time on the Patraeus story and increasingly less on the four betrayed Americans abandoned to die.
