Gingrich ‘dumbfounded’ by Obama win
Yahoo News ^ | November 12, 2012 | Claudine Zap, The Ticket

Posted on 11/12/2012 3:58:25 PM PST by Olog-hai

Add Newt Gingrich to the list of Republicans coming to terms with the loss of the presidential election. On Monday, the former speaker of the House sounded reflective on the "Today" show, saying, "We need to stop, take a deep breath and learn." He added, "The president won an extraordinary victory. And the fact is, we owe him the respect of trying to understand what they did and how they did it."

Gingrich said, "But if you had said to me three weeks ago Mitt Romney would get fewer votes than John McCain and it looks like he'll be 2 million fewer, I would have been dumbfounded." …

"Dumbfounded" is right. Obama really got the vote out.

Maybe Yahoo! News will do a follow up story on the remarkable turnout he got in Philly, Cayuga county, etc.

He's dumfounded, like many of those on the right, because they correctly predicted that Romney would get a majority of many mainstream groups, and would win independents. He did. What they didn't factor in is that the left would dilute the votes of traditional American groups by a combination of bringing out the hip hop generation youth vote, the Sadra Fluke type of idiotic woman voter (no apologies from me for stating the truth), continuing to bring in the minority vote, and by fairly extensive voter fraud.

We have a real path forward, a winning path, but we have to play the percentages and be just as cynical and aggressively Machiavellian as them - maybe more. It's worth it.

Gingrich hasn’t been keeping up with his history. Illegals come to America, have babies in American Hospitals at taxpayer’s expense, illegals and Citizen babies grow up dependent on Government, turn 18 and vote for the one that gives away more freebies. Now wash, rinse, repeat.

Mitt was just the fall guy in an All Star Wrestling match billed as a Predential Race. Nobody will say anything about the gross examples of cheating. Maybe Allen West will create such a spectical in Florida that it will draw attention to it? We’re a week out tomorrow, and not a peep. Kind of like the Birth Certificate. It was fraudulent as H*LL, and no one would say sh*t.

We must redouble all of our efforts to register Republicans to vote, and then to get them out on election day, or arrange for them to vote by absentee or early.

You simply don't win by attracting independents ~ you win by getting Republican voters out!

Newt did attack on that front in part because it was where Romney is vulnerable and in part to forshadow what the Dems would do in the general. In fact, it is the method used to demonize Romney and make him an attractive alternative. The Democrat/Media has become really good at making every election a choice between two unattractive options...the lesser of two evils. They take you down in the mud with them, and regardless of the opposition’s response, it is deemed ‘the most negative race ever’. Romney did not run an overly negative campaign, but a poll would likely show he was the negative one...not the guy who accused Romney, of murder, cancer causer, hatchet man, etc.

Be prepared to hear all about lots of “voters staying home”...the Bipartisan Oligarchy would rather we all stew in that mess..than having us all bothered, and deciding to investigate, about all the voters voting who never voted...

Listening to descriptions of how “Democrats got out their ground game” with “superior ability to bring those to the polls who normally would never go” by the commentators on Fox election night..made me realize..what they actually have done is track names that HAVE NOT VOTED IN MANY, MANY elections cycles....and vote them.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/23/No-Car-Finds-2-214-Registered-Voters-110-Years-of-Age-Older

A well-funded project, county-by-county..to examine the names signed in at at the polls..and going out to find those individuals..you’ll find they were never physically at he polls..or they themselves never filled out the absentee ballot....or their names in the death registers.

The very LAST thing the Bipartisan Oligarchy want or need is any semblance of Constitutional Federal Gov’mt or a clean vote.

Both those are up to We the People to cram it down their throats so hard in DC they will, someday, never do otherwise.

Absent a clean vote.....We the People are being taxed without representation..Ask George III how well that worked out!

So one GOP candidate should attack another because he made money as a capitalist? And this is considered helpful?

In fact, it turned many grassroots conservatives against Romney and helped spread the big lie.

Spreading lies and class warfare is not a good strategy from a GOP candidate. The Dems should be left to do that trash.

“It is a problem for the conservatives, we feel guilty when we lie, cheat and steal, the left doesn’t.”

This is a dilemma in the world in general. Christianity is, aside from the sacred religious aspects, an instruction set for how to get screwed by others - at least in the short term. I don't say this with disdain. If it wasn't for my faith I would not be alive. No question. Also, I believe, independent of the religious implications, that the messages put forth in Christian doctrine about how to conduct oneself in life are the absolute right ones.

I don't know how to deal with this conundrum, and would love to hear other opinions. Our military employs psy-ops and disinformation, etc. Is that wrong? What's the balance? Do we have the right to defend ourselves against those who want to destroy our way of life?

If you had said to me three weeks ago that one of our supposedly smarter conservatives, along with a panopoly of other morons, would persist in comparing the day-after vote totals of Romney to the final, fully counted vote totals of McCain, I would have been dumbfounded.

It's obvious Romney got more votes than McCain - the votes simply haven't been counted yet. There are at least a million uncounted Romney votes in California alone.

Obama is still short 7 million voters he got out in 2008.

Most of that is uncounted votes - figure about 2 million of the 3 million unprocessed California votes are Obama votes, and that 14% of NY ballots are uncounted.

I don't think I've ever seen more concentrated stupidity that the navel-gazing analysis of the mythical 2008-2012 turnout drop that doesn't exist.
