TEL AVIV – Did Paula Broadwell, the alleged mistress of ex-CIA Director David Petraeus, reveal a secret CIA detention center in Benghazi during a public speech she gave last month?
Broadwell, a former counterterror operative, co-authored a bestselling biography of Petraeus, titled “All In.” She discussed the book during a keynote speech on Oct. 26 at a University of Denver alumni symposium. The speech is available in full on YouTube.
During a question-and-answer session, Broadwell was asked about this year’s Sept. 11 attacks against the U.S. mission in Benghazi.
She stated: “Now I don’t know if a lot of you heard this, but the CIA annex had actually had taken a couple of Libya militia members prisoner. And they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back. So that’s still being vetted.”

Why didn’t the house committee call her to testify after she mention a prison. Where was Bonehead and Cantor.
It’s time for new leadership. Maybe this scandal gets us there.

No, but the idea of their attacking that facility to get these two guys back makes more sense than anything else so far. I’m sure there were strange weapons deals going on and and I’m sure Stevens was involved in it and they may have wanted to get rid of him if he was interfering with their weapons flow, but it has always seemed to me that their objective was something much more immediate.
The AQ group obviously played on the date, 9/11, to get support from the mob, and they certainly knew in advance that the ambassador was going to be there and for propaganda purposes, they probably hoped to capture him alive and parade him around a bit, humiliate him and then kill him publicly. (Unfortunately for them, he seems to have died before they could do much more than a few fist pumps, allahu akbars and a short trophy parade with his body.)
But it still seemed to me that their focus was something else, and if they thought or knew that two of their buds were being held there, this would explain their persistence and their interest in the facility, even after they thought and then knew that Stevens had been killed.

When you became aware of the investigation, why didn’t you bring
Betrayus and Broadwell in to testify under oath, behind closed doors

Why did Cantor and Bonehead pass the buck on such an urgent matter?

Doesn’t make a great deal difference why the place was attacked, it was attacked, and Obama watched as people died.
I think they have something on Boehner, other than his obvious drinking problem.

why is that a woman is always to be blamed? Petraus is just as culpable as she is, lets face it they both had to remove something in order to have an affair. what is going to happen to this woman whom also is a West Point Graduate? Will she have to resign too and forfeit her pension and so forth? What secrets did she divulge? Is she just one of the many leaks operating from the WH.
from what i see, if im not correct, this “affair” started in 2010..if true, then Petraeus committed perjury at his confirmation hearing, also, i’m sure the Whitehouse knew and the Director of the FBI knew also, then they subourned perjury...what did the president know..and when did he know it. Also, doesnt Petraeus have to under go a lie detector test when Obama appointed him>?. Also, who was the judge that ok’ed the FBI to hack the CIA directors e-mail?...and why? He had to have failed that lie detector test...and Obama and Mueller etc didnt know this?...they had to have. They hung this over his head...he flipped. This is gonna get good.

According to a source on the ground at the time of the attack, the team inside the CIA annex had captured three Libyan attackers and was forced to hand them over to the Libyans. U.S. officials do not know what happened to those three attackers and whether they were released by the Libyan forces.

While both Hussein and the FBI were interested in Broadwell, I no longer think it was for the same reasons. Broadwell is actually Broadwell-Kranz, and she worked and trained in Israel. It is unlikely but possible that a formal ally of the USA in the middle-east flipped Broadwell.
I think Hussein wanted to blackmale Petraeus over Bengazi, and I think some of all of the FBI interest in her was the possibility that a country in the middle east could via Broadwell exert an unusual influence over his actions.

She didn’t really reveal anything new. The media outside of the US showed this video with the prisoners being loaded into an SUV. Or at least one prisoner. But was that their motive for attacking the annex? To get these terrorists back?

It is a somewhat longer version (2:39) of raw video we have all seen but with audio, including gunshots, glass breaking, sounds of men rummaging through consulate heard throughout video. Nothing gruesome.
