‘I think’ on stock-market:

Consider it as a necessary risk, but don’t bet all, about 20% to 40%.
The minimal to get matching 401k funds.
Stocks is a good option to beat inflation(Bernake) for long term.
If it all collapses, cash won’t matter too much either.

The bet is the inflation of the stocks I hold will out pace the stocks of the companies Democrats put out of business.

Invest in your tools and skills is also good advice I heard here.

That’s what was thought in the 1880s and 1920s. The coming economic slides and all-out wars will end this version of a New World Order. They always do.

LOL. Do you think the Great Depression ushered in a new era of conservativism? In the US we got four terms of FDR and Dem control over the House for forty years straight and just a couple of sessions when the GOP controlled the Senate. In Germany with the fall of the Weimar Republic, we got Hitler. In the UK Labor took over. I could go on and on how such economic slides result in more socialism and stronger executives.

We have a failed presidency. Obama was a disaster by any metric yet he won an overwhelming victory electorally. It wasn't even close except for the popular vote, which he won 51% to 48% (so far with millions of votes to be added--many from CA, which has reported only 71% of the vote) and a difference of over 3 million votes. Under the old political paradigm, there is no way he could have been reelected. And he was not only reelected, he had coattails that added to the Dem majority in the Senate and there were 8 takeovers of various houses of state legislatures. Obama suspended the laws of political gravity. We can come with all kinds of reasons, but it is just a state of denial.

As many Reps still cannot comprehend, we have reached a real tipping point. The rapidly changing electorate will make the Dems the permanent majority party. There is no way we win in 2016 no matter what happens to the economy. Hillary will be the President in 2016 and she will promise to fix the problems that she and Obama inherited from Bush. It will take a little longer, but they will fix it.

In the meantime Obamacare will be fully implemented and we will have a few new SCOTUS justices to remove any constitutional impediments to the transforming of America. Obama's reelection is, ipso facto, proof that we have already been transformed.

some lover boy former commerce secretary says the Republican party needs to do away with the “extreme right”. What an insufferable snood he is. He’s the type that’d drop his pants at the request of any female, I can tell cause I’m a womins and know these things.

And Jon Huntsman is insufferable today. He’s everywhere, just now on Fat Lying Crowley all smug and full of sanctimonius crap.

The GOP helped redistrict West to a more Dem one. If the results are close or being contested, West has lost. The Dems always win the “close” ones.

All day I’m hearing “the tea party has to go”, “the tea party pulls down the Republican party”...in various phraseology.

They demonize us, innocent friendly folk who carry this country on our backs, you know it, I know it, we don’t hurt a soul.

But man they’re doing their best to pull us down.

It’s not going to work. Cause the Tea Party will soon enough realize its power, its power of NUMBERS!

Just need to organize it is all and once we do we will take this country back.

I got some points already to begin with.

Here is the problem with your theory Dan.
We had numerous candidates for the party. Each and everyone dropped out during the process.Romney had been running for years, was well financed and seemingly had what it takes to win.
I’m still not so sure he couldn’t have won were it not for Christie and Powell. We will never know.
99% of us would have preferred a Palin, Rubio or other conservative even Ryan.
Truth is none had what it takes to get through the primaries.
We can’t keep ignoring primaries. If we want a conservative to be our Republican nominee.

You’re right about one thing: America isn’t coming back. This wasn’t just another election.

By then even the stupidest of soccer moms or others will be so discouraged they will either stay home or join the good guys.

&&&&

Not true, rodguy. FDR never lost an election, and the history books still blame Hoover for all the troubles of the 1930s. This election has proved to me that reason and logic will never win in the 21st century, where everyone feels ‘entitled.’ We have to play on our opponents’ turf, and by their rules: ridicule, slander, and appeals to emotion.

Now, after watching what the Chicago/Alinsky way can do to a squeaky-clean and proven-success-in-business and Massachusetts politics Romney, what Republican wants to run for office ever??????

We still control a lot of states, and this fraud needs a several state-level FBI type of investigations. Leave the feds out--let the Republican governors appoint special prosecuters, and really, really nail the cheaters.,

I hate to throw water on your good idea, but it will go no where.

Across the land, our State Republicans are not much better than our Fed RINOs. They are in the end, just politicians. Yea, here and there are good Conservatives, but none of them will go the extra mile to fight voter fraud.

Scott Walker aside, I see no Republican leader at the State level with a Warrior mentality.

The working poor, and that would now include most of us here, unless you are independently wealthy and can walk away from it all. Welcome to the lower class everyone! (including the low-information voters(we are the high-information voters)).
