I sold my company in 1994. It was small with only about a dozen employees. The reason I sold it was because I had to fill out the same stupid paperwork as any huge corporation did and I was spending more time doing that than running the business. Also, my company sold software that was mainly sold to educational and tax-exempt companies. The state said that my sales tax figures were too low relative to sales. The result was an audit that took me and one of my clerical staff away from our jobs for 4 1/2 days. In the end, the auditor laughed and said: “Your figures are correct.” and left. That kind of crap would cease if I could charge the state my going wage rate for the time they took me away from my job. It’s ridiculous.

I am not so sure. As long as a democrat thinks they are getting their share of a zero sum game pie, they will keep voting democrat. They wilil never vote to expand the pie. Does anyone in Detroit look up and say, “We’ve been voting democrat for forty years, and Detroit looks like a burned out war zone. Do you think we should stop doing that?”

That was just a few companies already waiting to announce. Many more are no doubt organizing their layoffs as we speak.

Exactly! Growing the size of the pie makes no sense to them, nor does the saying: "A rising tide lifts all boats". Rather than giving business a break, Obozo wants to punish them. Brilliant, you arrogant dunce! I don't know about everyone else, but in 45 years of work, not one poor person ever hired me. When a lady screams: "Vote for Obama 'cuz he give me a free cell phone", I fear this Republic is toast.

True for some, but many of these layoffs are due to Obamacare.

This was coming because it was said this was going to happen if Obamacare was not overturned.

This is just the beginning.

The other day I got an e-mail the day after Obama was re-elected, it came from a small business acquaintance, it read in part:

"I've given this my best but the economy as we all knows isn't great and God only knows what'll happen from here on....

I'm selling a LOT of stuff SATURDAY the 10th at 10:00 - 12:00. There will be some great deals and they'll go fast!

I gave it my best, but unfortunately under this economy I just couldn't get it done." -Tom

If you guys were seeing what dear leader’s supporters were saying about such people, you’d probably need new teeth. I’d thought I’d seen all the stupidity I could ever see in the world, but people continue to surprise me.

On a good note, Ayn Rand is being proven right yet again in regards to the looters’ understanding of running a business.

This is exactly what Obama want to occur. AS these people fall off of the insurance rolls, they MUST go on the government provided coverage. I keep remembering the 1998 video interview with obama where he said, “I believe the government dependency groups are a viable POLITICAL constituency.” He is exponentially going to increase the number of dependents on government and thus putting the democrats in perpetual power. It is all working out exactly as he planned. If, however he goes overboard.....that is if enough of us go Galt, (and that will never, never happen) it could be reversed. Obama has created a huge monster which we (USA) will soon not be able to feed. There will be poverty, mysery, war, deprivation, pain, death in the wake of the Obama52%. How long will the rest of us make provision for them?

You're singin' my song:

President Barack Obama declares victory: ‘The best is yet to come’(Barf Alert!)

“The best is yet to come.”

Yeah. After what this jackwagon does after the next four years, there will be such outrage, despair and pain...

And he won’t have anyone to blame for it all.

Obama might just, single-handedly, erase the democrat party once and for all.

All we have to do, my FRiends, is stay self-sufficient, and watch.

Suck it up, Amerika.

You were given a choice and, despite numerous warnings, chose socialism. Have an Obamaphone, a joint and an EBT card.

It`s a brave new world. Get used to it.

And remember... you wanted this.

Respectfully disagree, my friend. More and more people are going to become dependent on government benefits to just barely survive. They are not going to give those up. We will have more and more dependent Americans, and perhaps millions more illegals who are now RAT voters. The game has been fixed for a generation.

Obama may campaign and won like FDR in his first re election, but Obama may end up like Hollande of France. Enacting policies to raise taxes resulted in an economic implosion, Even some of the French voters who voted for him started to realize that. Irony of all ironies, Obama’s approval ratings start to tank shortly after winning re election. GOP must begin PR campaign to stoke buyer’s remorse again but this time do not concentrate it on Obama only, but smear the entire Democrat party so they are in position to win in 2014 and 2016.

The game has been fixed for a generation.

Scripture says to the third and fourth generation of those who hate him.

If Jesus does not return, our great grandchildren will perhaps emerge to see a better day.

You ain’t seen nothing yet if Sequestration is allowed to happen. Boeing and Oshkosh have already announced layoffs. Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems and many other Defense companies are going to cut jobs very quickly. It is estimated that 2.5 million people will be cut.
