I would think that this was required by law.
Yeah, but the "Romney campaign staff continue to spend funds and credit cards in violation of law" story didn't quite pan out so they had to go with this one.
And I'm sure Obama cut off funds to his campaign staff as well. But this story isn't about Obama. It's about Romney. Specifically, Romney firing people, leaving them destitute.
