Texas has one of these up as well.

Silly and amusing.

Louisiana is a ‘take state’ - billions poured in post Katrina and a huge Democrat population sucking up fed money as well.

As does Missouri.

Obama needs to clue in to the fact that half the country did not vote for him and that gloating over his victory is not in anyone's best interest.

I don’t believe states seceding will cure anything - almost all have cities full of the people causing the problems.
If states start dumping fed rules and stop supporting the problems (like OK is doing with their no drugs on welfare law) then the problem people will either start contributing or they will relocate to prisons or other states.
Once that happens then it may become state -v- state but I think that the welfare states will be weaker and fewer and less apt to fight other than within themselves. I also think that the welfare states will implode before real war breaks out. People in welfare states will be like 3rd world banana republics wanting what the non welfare states have and will slowly purge themselves.

Maybe the pot laws will help to relocate some? I feel we are at a tipping point. Legalize pot 100% and we’re doomed - no reason for the loonies to move, no ambition for kids to support themselves (or their inevitable offspring).
So allow the states to decriminalize pot, coke, even heroin or even meth - as long as the penalty for abuse is high; no free/government health care and or welfare if you fail a drug test in last 6 months. Also, if you commit a crime while high you automatically get a no parole sentence in a prison that consists of four walls, one door and 8 watch towers. Drop in enough food on Saturday to feed X number of prisoners for a week. That will add new meaning to “scared straight” and stop the I live better in prison BS.
Get high and kill someone or cause serious permanent injury you get death or life w/o parole.
If a clean citizen kills a doper committing a crime: Give them a new box of ammo and a Thank you note.
Bye-bye dopers, bye-bye welfare, bye-bye Cartels, bye-bye crowded ERs, hello polite, productive citizenry.

Louisiana has a Republican Governor, a full republican legistion. The Katrina folks moved out to other states following the hurricaine. We finally got Bov Blanco out. We went overwhelming for Romney even with the help of Tea Party volunteers. Sister Mary Landrieu is not popular here for selling us out on the Louisiana Purchase to get Obama care. Huge RIb Paul supporters here too. Gov Jindal has cleaned up a lot of long democratic policies like cutting large numbers of state jobs.

Louisiana would like to see a lot of those “takers” leave. Leaving the union would force a lot those to go northeast. A good thing...

Curiously the donkey party is near comatose in the swamp state. Every state level position is now GOP. One Senator and one representative (from the Afro rotten borough of the 2nd Congressional District) are dems. Republicans now control both houses of the legislature and in spite of rubbing some republicans the wrong way Gov. Jindal has unleashed a stealth campaign to really crush two pillars of the donkeys, teachers union and state employees. He has used a state budget deficit to unilaterally make big cuts in the physical size of the state hospital empire and has one of the big publics, Earl Long, in Baton Rouge on the road to closing and transferring the state share to a non profit Lady of the Lake Hospital. Every opportunity the state has to knock out the public school monopoly by instituting charter schools is done. it is spreading from New Orleans to other parts of the state by using the ‘failing schools’ escape clause to institute charters. Jindal tried getting some stuff through the legislature but found the higher education empire was too entrenched so he just uses the ‘sorry no money’ approach and lets the educrats figure out what toe to amputate. The swamp state sucks in a lot of ways but I have really grown to like Bobby jindal master of swamp state political stealth.
