'It Ain't Over 'til It's Over': What to Do Now
American Thinker ^ | 11/10/12 | Paul Murphy

....In the short term, the GOP must fight the count. Romney should never have conceded, and he must now find a reason to "unconcede." It's alarming advice to give the GOP, but in this the party must behave as the Democrats do. Try to imagine, for example, how the Obama campaign would have reacted if the numbers in Florida were reversed; if Scot Brown seemed guilty of practicing law without a license and won anyway; if a half-dozen major precincts responsible for electing Republicans claimed turnouts of 99% or more; if the Romney campaign had rather obviously both solicited and accepted foreign money.

I know we'd all like to be better than that -- but we're not going to save Democratic voters from their leaders without breaking through the social and political barriers that leadership have put in place to protect their positions. Ask your neighbors, your family members, anyone who votes Democrat but isn't fanatical about it: do they want $8 gas? Thirty million unemployed Americans? Dysfunction in health care and the military? ... more than half of all Americans are abandoned to people who treat a lie as just another tool, who have no shame and no loyalties beyond themselves.

So we have to do it -- and we start by denying Obama any aura of legitimacy. We fight the count, we impeach on Libya, we go after him personally and in every possible way.

In the middle-term, the GOP should turn to its financial backers -- and those backers should move to take over major media players.... Gannet, Time Warner, and McClatchy are all horrifically unbalanced but great properties nevertheless. Republicans should buy these -- and run them as real news and entertainment businesses, not as propaganda outlets...

Neither Party is concerned with the rule of law. When the states start secession, recommend they make the Democratic Party and the Republican Party illegal.

The state of Kalifornia is where the rest of the country is heading. Super Majority of corrupt Democratics with their enabling RINO's. If voter fraud is not dealt with, that alone can provide justification for state secession.

First, change the way they are cast:
* Require Voter ID to register
* Require same Voter ID to vote
* Require a reading test to register - I had to!
* Registration expires 2 years after your last vote, then you register per current voter registration laws.
Then,
* Limit early voting
* Smaller (neighborhood) polling places
* Limit absentee voting to people who will be absent from their polling place.
* Stop email voting
* Stop same day registration (really? You had no idea that there was an election coming up?)
* Laugh all you want, but I have no problem with dipping my finger in a bottle of ink to show that I voted.
* Separate ballots and lines for Federal and local/state ballots.
* No ‘pollsters’ with 500 feet of a polling place.

That would cut down on the number of ballots cast. THEN you can start on how they are counted.

* Have one party count all ballots, then the other until the counts match. Any that are ‘vague’ should be tossed. If you can’t be bothered to fill out a ballot in a manner that leaves no doubt as to your vote then you shouldn’t be voting.
* Anyone that is suspect during the voting process should be checked and approved by both parties.
* Anyone voting falsely should be severely punished, not just fined and sent home.
* Military voting should be counted by the military and the count turned in like any other polling place.
* Early and absentee ballots are opened and counted on election day.

As far as I am concerned this is common sense stuff, nothing discriminatory or demeaning about it.

Exactly.

And as for making illegals eligible to vote....

It is a lot easier to put up a candidate that will bring out our conservative base than it is to get Hispanics to vote repub.

The real question is: Why did so many conservatives stay home?

If the right used the same tactics as the left, Sarah Palin would be on the steps of Congress right now, in the cold with a bullhorn, surrounded by hundreds of thousands if not millions of party faithful, demanding that zero stole the election through fraud and bribery, and we demand not only a recount for all states, but a full investigation of benghazi while we’re at it. It would be surrounded by news crews trying to minimize the “estimated” crowd size with careful camera angles but it wouldn’t work, and they’d have to call out the national guard and shoot people before it ended. But hey, I’m dreamin’.

I agree with Wintertine. Your comment deserves its own thread.

There is a Media Blackout on all this voter fraud. The media blackout itself may be as big of a story as the fraud.

Either Romney or the RNC, if not maybe a large group of disenfranchised voters - I really do not know.

‘..One thing I have to give the democrats...politically they will cut your throat from ear to ear, and then when you are on the ground begging, they will tie you up by the feet so that you drain faster. They are ruthless.

Meanwhile the GOP is passive, submissive, useless, pointless, and stupid beyond comprehension....’

Exactly! Is the Rep Party of Fla helping Allen West? Called today & left message; will call again on Monday morn.

The Republican Party needs to stick to Conservative principles and Conservative candidates.

If we begin to chase power and control at the price of our values, we are lost as a country and the Constitutional Republic has failed.

“The human desire for individual freedom hasn’t changed because of demographics.”

Yes; it has changed. Now, more than 50% of the people would rather have free stuff than free-dom. With that mindset, there’s really no hope.

I suspect that many of the GOP political family have been involved in shenanigans that they want hidden: but they still could be compromised. Obama and his Chicago enablers showed years ago how to use Alinsky tactics against political opponents. This is more likely the longer a politician is in office. Even highest military military officers are not exempt from being used as shills.

Well no they aren’t helping him. They are too busy trying to work with democrats now because the people have said that must be made so, so Allen, who doesn’t work well with democrats, is on his own.

If the GOP was to help anyone, I expect it would be Murphy. Then they could work together.

My dad always told me not to get in a puking contest with a buzzard. Good advice, but in your case I’ll make an exception.

Your reading skills are as bad as your reasoning skills. Make the case, Bozo, that America has not committed national suicide. Make the argument that all is not lost. Go ahead punk, make my day. Or STFU, AH.

All of your suggestions make sense. Problem is, who is going to get it done? Eric Holder?

The problem is greater than voter fraud, etc. The problem is that the number of people in the wagon now exceeds the number of people pulling the wagon. Many of the people that have been pulling the wagon see what’s going on and are getting discouraged to the point that they don’t want to pull the wagon anymore, they want to get in the wagon. Add to that all the people that are coming across the border and getting straight into the wagon. The wagon will someday grind to a halt. That time is rapidly approaching.
