Just like the Secret Service agent who “killed himself (yeah right)” 5 days before the election?

Do you have a news story that you can give me a link for? That's very interesting.

“MacPhee is hinting that this is the dame Petraeus was banging on the side.”

MacPhee thinks he had a fling with Granny Warren?

Bengahzi hearing is going to be in closed session

Oh boy or girl, can't wait for the spin. Am thinking spin cycle on the washing machine. Something found the drain.

Maybe he was being blackmailed into silence, and decided, screw it. I’m coming clean, then gonna speak out on Benghazi.

That was my first reaction to the story. And if he is still to be part of the coverup as many seem to think, what possible advantage could there have been for him to confess an affair and resign?

I'm hoping he's clearing away a blackmail situation and planning to tell the truth at the hearings.

He has been blackmailed to keep quiet about Benghazi and other things, and he decided he owes it to his country to come clean even if it harms his marriage.

Well, if true, then he also owes it to his country to identify who it was that tried to blackmail the Director of Central Intelligence. That is a crime, and it is darned near an act of war.

When did he institute the stupid rules of engagement in Afghanistan?

She was embedded with him for three years!

Nice story, but resignation wouldn't spare him getting whacked, and he knows it too.

But, if he was compromised by a Mati Hari, then this (in combination with whacking his girlfriend) is a good way to clean up the mess without an official admission coming out. Everybody who "knows" what really happened will tend to keep quiet.

“Here’s an opportunity for Gen. Colin Powell to step up tothe plate, however reluctantly.”

His endorsement of Obama was a betrayal of everyone who’s ever served, and particularly of those currently on active duty. He’s a natural fit for BO’s administration.

This is kind of off-topic, but...does anyone else think that Valerie Jarrett could be the Antichrist?

The Chicago Way.

I thought as much. This is all to keep him from testifying about Benghazi.

Can't he be subpoened? Is someone claiming national security would be compromised? Any explanation at all?
