(Reuters) - A Georgia congressman who attacked the theory of evolution found himself with an unlikely opponent in Tuesday's U.S. election, when 4,000 voters in one county cast write-in ballots for the 19th century father of evolution, British naturalist Charles Darwin.

Funny how lefteists “Believe” in the teaching of Darwin and his theory of natural Selection, but when it comes to things like the Free Market which run on such ideas they simply abandon it without the slightest thought of their hypocrisy...
They would rather play “Intelligent Designer” with citizen’s lives and fourtunes...
I’ve gotta give the campaign its credit. I have seen emblems stuck on the backs of cars all over the country promoting that candidate.
Since Broun, a Republican, had no opposition in the general election, a University of Georgia plant biology professor, Jim Leebens-Mack, and others started a write-in campaign for Darwin, the father of the theory of evolution.Crybaby liberals with another make-the-MSM stunt.
Dr Broun is a great man! have had the pleasure of praying with him(via phone)- have met with him for dinner, etc... His staff is TOP NOTCH!! BEST IN DC! He is not MY congressman, but he is the one I always go to for anything....He still does house calls! When he gets home from DC, and here in GA, I ask him how he’s doing and he always says “It’s great to be back home in the United States.” LOL!!
You stole my thunder, I went on this thread and saw my thoughts already posted!
It makes me furious that voters take their right to vote so frivolously as to vote for such a candidate, or a third party! People died to give us this ability! They should be barred from voting until such a time that they understand the great gift they have! They are responsible for another four years of travesty. Shame on them all!
All in one state. Interesting.
And yet I’m expected to believe Mitt Romney didn’t get a SINGLE vote in a whole but of Ohio precincts.
Hrm.
Here’s the beautiful hypocrisy of liberals:
On the one hand, they espouse Darwinism.
On the other hand, they will kill one species of owl to protect another endangered owl species.
