HAZARD, Ky. (AP) — About 90 jobs are being lost in the eastern Kentucky coalfields.

WYMT-TV (http://bit.ly/TPmWQ3 ) in Hazard reported TECO Coal Corporation is cutting back production and shedding jobs.

Company personnel director Paul Matney told the station no mines are closing, but manpower and staffing is being trimmed to match reduced production from the mines.

Matney said the layoffs are at several locations and are the result of economic conditions in the coal market.

I hear from a friend that works at Virginia Power that there will be lots of layoffs here because of new coal regulations. I believe they will begin the first of the year. These guys are really pissed.

Don’t forget the electrical grid.
There won’t be enough power without the coal fired plants.

And the big cities will suffer first and most.

I’ll cry a river for them, to be sure.

Good! Aren’t there any more that can be laid off?

I want to see massive, deep, hurtful and crippling layoffs. I want them to be absolutely brutal.

I want taxes to go up to astronomical levels. Crippling levels so bad that people refuse to work because it just isn’t worth the trouble.

I want power to be cut, brown outs and blackouts to be common. I want dark and frigid nights and sweltering summers. I want people to die of exposure.

I want suffering to be common and widespread. People will live like rats in their mcmansions... tough.

I want this system to absolutely implode and collapse into nothingness.

Find out what the people want and need and take it away from them. It is the only way to motivate them.

I and mine will survive. I just don’t care about anyone else.

Maybe Obama will call them and ask TECO to replace these employes with Blacks, Browns and homosexuals.

There should be a lay-off counter for the next 4 years.
