The only thing that the conservative media was to yell and scream to not pay attention to those polls. And what made that even worse was conservative media saying that Romney was going to win Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and had a chance for Michigan. The conservatives were probably thrilled and thought oh great why vote? Romney, Ryan and conservative media say we won this already. HUGE MISTAKE to be so sure of themselves. I am sure because of that, we can gather why 3 million stayed home.

In a way he's right. Rush kicked off the "war on women" by attacking Fluke as a "slut." He turned her into a cause celeb. It was an unforced error. As a professional with decades of experience he KNEW better.
Add in the 'Tea Party' pushed morons Akin and Mourdock and it was all wrapped neatly in a bow for Obama.
