It turns out the calls for a stronger Hispanic voice in the GOP more urgent than ever after Barack Obamas massive support among the demographic Tuesday were heard loud and clear in North Texas.
George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and nephew of former President George W. Bush, has taken his first step toward running for office by filing an appointment of a campaign treasurer with the Texas Ethics Commission, according to The New Republic.

He can do everything he can to try and get Hispanics to vote Republican. I’ll be impressed if he succeeds.
Never going to vote for him for President though.
No.
One of his first steps should be to change his name. He’ll never get elected as a “Bush”.
And now we know why Jeb has been laying the groundwork. Not for himself. For his son.
I oppose these dynasties on both sides of the political fence. I want to see some politicians that have families that live and work in realville. Not kids that went to a prep school, Ivy league and then intern in DC.
I agree. He should change his name to:
Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho
(For those of you who don’t recognize the name, Google it)
Whats the point.
If the repubs want to compromise their principles (which they will do in the belief that that will get them elected), why bother.
Does anyone disagree with me on that point?
Socialism is here to stay. It has gained a firm grip now and will only get worse.
The GOP is a suicide pact?
Yes. Run on your own merit. Not your connections.
And we shouldn’t reject a person just because.
I think he has eye on replacing Perry as Governor.
Well, he is quite handsome.
That is really all that matters to the
American Idol, reality TV obsessed nation.

Oh, that and FREE STUFF!
With a name like “Bush” it has to be bad LOL!
He’ll have to start in the House of Representin’.

Well I’m a Texan and I would vote for George P over Perry right now sad to say. Perry is not really conservative, just talks.
He is for open borders and the welfare state... freebies for all latinos... you like that?

George P. is betting that by the end of this administration the Bush name will take on a new polish and glow.
I would not bet against him.
Angela Merkel misses her backrubs.
