Christie Calls Obama to Congratulate, Emails Romney
Breitbart ^

Posted on 11/09/2012 4:19:42 AM PST by Perdogg

New Jersey Gov. Benedict Arnold Christie revealed that he took the time to make a personal phone call to congratulate Barack Obama on his reelection. Christie was clear that any political chicanery was not discussed:

“We didn’t have a political strategy discussion. I said congratulations on your win last night Mr. President, he said thank you governor.”

Oops. Properly italicized, that last sentence should read, “Thank you, Governor.”

Christie has lashed out at Republicans, upset with his glowing words for Obama during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, especially Mitt Romney’s staffers, saying:

"When you get to the end of a campaign and it’s unsure of the results, those who fear they may be blamed if things don’t go well will try to look for other people to blame. That’s the way it goes.”

Here’s the way it goes for Christie: he didn’t call Romney, simply emailed him his condolences, saying weakly, “We haven't spoken on the phone yet."

There’s a shock.

One would suppose that the journey of being the keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention to stabbing Mitt Romney in the back a week before the election must have been exhausting for Christie.

No wonder he didn’t have the energy to call Romney. And for all of Christie's reputed toughness, he didn’t have the ***** to call the man whose dreams and career he sabotaged.

Some tough guy.

This is obviously a man who feels he can win re-election without the party’s support (money, volunteers, et al). Good luck to him...

After giving the worst keynote speech ever given at a convention, he had to look for another way to hurt Republican chances of winning. He succeeded with his tail-wagging, face-licking performance with Obama.

I suppose his electricity got turned on though and his wife is happy, so it was worth it.

I got my very first laugh of this new communist era in our country listening to Glenn Beck discuss Christie yesterday morning.

Even though we are mad at him, we have to channel our anger and energy toward the real problem and main reason why Obama won this election that wasn’t really an election. Vote fraud. On many levels, in many forms, it was an election that was stolen by these Marxists.

What do we do about it? I really want someone to tell me so I can get to work.

Say hello to your GOP 2016 Presidential candidate. And 90% of Freepers will vote for him because he’s “better than the alternative”. Look how well that worked the last two elections. BECAUSE conservatives continue to vote for the RINO then the elections have been close and all that has done is encourage the GOP to continue with the RINO express. Now they want us to be more “inclusive” for the next election. Why don’t we just support abortion, women’s “rights, come up with Christiephones, and embrace illegals getting amnesty? Instead of going after the groups that are showing up to vote how about going after the millions who are waiting for a decent candidate? No, can’t do that, we might actually win.

I guess I’m of the old school when it comes to these things. I expect the man to make the call after the first date.

It would seem christy is far more progressive than I thought.

Then again, both of them might have had trouble figuring out which was which...

I think the GOP should just let Obozo raise the tax rates as high as he wants to. The economy will completely crash and the American people will get exactly what they wanted. Elections have consequences.

Christie reminds me of a nerd who gets a little popular in school, gets a huge ego as a result, and ends up alienating all of his former friends. And the new people he tires to be buddies with still think he’s a dork.

So “Right”Lady- you must have voted for Romney, you must have voted for McCain and no doubt you’ll vote for Christie in ‘16. All you have done is encourage the GOP to run RINO candidates (because they came SOOOOO close). They now think all they have to do is get the hispanic vote, etc. You’ll see them cave in on immigration “reform”, you’ll see them cave in on the budget cuts, etc. in the next few months. Your vote has consequences. We needed MORE conservatives to ignore the RINO candidate. The GOP needs to go after the millions of conservatives that stayed home or just voted down ticket, NOT move to the left to try to get black and hispanic votes. If conservatives would have all just voted for conservative candidates on their ballots then Romney would have been crushed, as he should have. The GOP MIGHT have gotten the message that they need a CONSERVATIVE candidate.

Christie doesn't have the nerve to talk to Romney because he knows that Romney knows he betrayed him. I can't imagine a Republican or a Democrat ever wanting someone as sleazy as Christie in their Party. Who can ever trust him? He would stab anyone in the back if he thought it would help him, but he goofed when he helped elect Obama again. The people in the Northeast are learning first hand that you cannot trust Obama, and Christie is going to learn the hard way. Christie is toast...no one wants anything to do with a loud mouth bully and opportunist who cares only for himself. Thank goodness, he has exposed himself for the worthless piece of trash he is! He needs to vanish from the political scene.
