One of my best friends is Filipino, a right-winger so hard core he makes most freepers sound like DU trolls, one which is a rarity.
He tells me that Filipinos don’t like mexicans because mexicans talk to them in spanish, which pisses them off because they don’t. But unfortunately, they vote Dem.
The Philippines is one of the few Christian Asian countries out there. I think they're far more socially conservative than the U.S.
My wife is a Filipina and many of her Filipina friends (but certainly not all) are conservative. But she’s from Cebu and born in Mindano (not the Muslim part!) which is generally a more conservative part of the country.
