They will make sure that the Dems will be in charge forever because they will no doubt force us to start the much needed 3rd party.

Either a 3rd party or more and more previous Republican voters just stop voting in presidential elections. Boner seems ready to add more evidence for those who believe there is actually little difference between the two parties on the major issues of national sovereignty and globalism.

He thinks that and so do many other beltway 'Pubs. They think that passing some kind of liberal immigration legislation will bring droves of Latino voters into the 'Pub fold. They don't understand that none of that matters to the majority of Hispanic voters. One thing does: free money.

Once we passed the tipping point where more voters are electing political figures who promise to give them free things, the conservative cause lost. We don't expect something for nothing. But the majority of voters do. They think da gummint is there to give them things. They think there is an inexhaustible supply of money somewhere ("the rich", or "corporations", or whatever) that they can take and get the things they want. Once we became a nation of takers and not makers, were we done. The only solution I can see is letting it collapse like the old USSR and trying to rebuild something closer to what the Founders envisioned.

Right after an election is the time to start. You can raise funds. You can vet candidates. No idiots like the pubbies put up. Start collecting signatures to get on ballots. Maybe a half dozen states to start and let it grow from there.
There will be push back from the established parties who don’t want the competition. I have no illusions as to how fast a process this would be but a few congressional seats could certainly be a reasonable target with a 2 year lead time.

"The [immigration] bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It
will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the
standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose
their jobs."

"This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal

bring forward another amnesty bill like this."

Yep, I don’t think such an animal exists, yet, but being associated with the likes of Rove and Steven Schmidt pushing a never ending line of RINOs to the front of the class is something I’ll do no longer.

It doesn’t exist. Yet. The time is ripe, the time is now and its the only way to be heard.
Candidates. Thats the need. Not some of the idiots that will come running our way like that woman from Delaware or an Akin or anyone like that. Smart people not interested in politics as a job but as a service. People who can speak for more than 30 seconds without putting their foot in their mouth. They exist. They exist here. No 100% ers, no one issue people.

Re: “Do you have any idea how screwed Republicans were going to battle with Mitt Romney?”

Yes, I do.

I felt the same way when I had to vote for center-left Republicans like McCain and Bob Dole and GHW Bush.

By 2005, I felt completely screwed by ‘W’ Bush.

But the alternative today, 4 more years of Obama, 4 more years of the most Socialist president in American history, is appalling.

First of all, forget the Supreme Court.

That will be D-E-A-T-H to Conservatives for decades, and probably generations.

Second, ObamaCare - or, as I see it, the Post Office running our health care system.

Third, total Amnesty for 12 million illegal immigrants who vote 80% for the Democrat Party.

How will Conservatives survive that politically?

No matter what we give to the Left, no matter how much we give, they still despise us, and they will never vote for us.

Here is the exact prediction I made six months ago after Obama created the DREAM Act by Executive Order, and Republicans did NOTHING...

Obama will pretend to negotiate with Republicans on immigration.

He will claim we won't compromise.

He will issue an Executive Order for “Deferred Action” (which means a “temporary” non-enforcement of the law) for ALL illegal immigrants.

Within a year or two, every one of them will have a Green Card.

There is no political way back from that catastrophe.

They will demand, and probably receive, citizenship before the 2016 election.

And the Democrat Party will take total control of Congress and the White House for generations to come.

I didn’t say anything about amnesty but continuing along like this is nothing but trouble. Babies born in the US to illegal parents are becoming US citizens by simply running out the clock. We need to deal with it not wish for a solution that isn’t going to happen. Every year we continue along the same lines more and more illegals come to the US.
If we triple the border patrol, substantially increase criminal penalties for employers who hire illegals then we can start to deal with the millions who are here now.

We can wish this away.
