It is what this thread is about. Krauthhammer seems to believe that amnesty will bring us more Hispanic votes. It is nonsense. The Hispanics aided by the Dems and MSM are trying to stampede the Rep leadership into caving into an amnesty, which would destroy this country with the stroke of a pen. And it would not add a single vote to the Reps. Hispanics are part of the Dem constituency because they have an out of wedlock birthrate of 50% and a high school drop rate--higher than blacks. They are big users of the welfare system. They have a high teenage birth rate.

We have created a permanent underclass populated by blacks and Hispanics. What is disturbing is that Asians voted for Obama by an even higher margin than Hispanics if you believe the exit polls. And they have been very successful overall educationally and economically. We are becoming Balkanized along racial, ethnic, and linguistic lines. The government has incentivized group identification thru affirmative action and minority business set asides. This country is becoming more polarized.

amnesty will just create more Dem voters faster. That is obvious.

However the ‘all is lost’ message by so many now, many of the same ones who said Romney was winning a landslide, is pointless.
