Of course Sen. Saxby Chambliss might find he is a lonely voice in the wilderness at that first closed door Senate hearing. Hope not but I taint expecting the robust questioning of incriminating nature performed by a number of the Repub side during the Issa open hearing to be the case.
Time will tell. Maybe a follow up open hearing session will give us a clue as how the Senate will handle this case.

Great link — the cynic in me says this info never makes it to an open committee hearing for MSM reporting or the more insistent “what did the President know and when did he know it” kind of reporting. I’ll be watching to see which way it goes...I’m willing to be pleasantly surprised.

Cavuto had a Repubilican Rep from PA who is on the Issa committee who verbally expressed himself very stronly about getting some answers out of the Administration.

So I am encouraged that it is not going to die suddebly....however I doubt many expressing doubts on this thread will agree.

I believe you are referring to Representative Mike Kelly of PA. starting at 03:12:30 time mark of the four hour Issa public hearing.
Mike was one of six who really laid into the idea the administration was at fault for this fiasco, and that people are going to have to be held accountable for the perceived total lack of leadership. He almost went totally ballistic.
The two remaining demorats that where present keep rather silent with no rebuttal toward him.

What possible difference would it make if Congress “investigates”? They’ll talk, they’ll write a report, they’ll spend a lot of money. If they ever came up with anything substantive, President Jarrett will threaten them into silence, so that even though they all know perfectly well that we’re being ruled by a cowardly pro-Muslim homosexual commie who watched with pornographic excitement as our heroes died, they will do nothing.

It will be interesting to see if the SoS shows up at the HR open session hearing. I believe that will be the same day the Senate will conduct a closed session hearing on the Benghazi fiasco.
