Rep. Allen West is leading by more than 300 votes in Palm Beach County, Fla., a hopeful sign for the Tea Party favorite fighting for his political life after Tuesday’s election, a source told TheBlaze.
No winner has been declared in the congressional race between the Republican West and his Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy, though Murphy had a 2,456-vote lead in the unofficial vote total.
But a Republican observer who has been monitoring the counting process said West pulled ahead in Palm Beach County on Thursday as the initial count continues. Ballot printing errors led to ballots that could not be fed through scanners in some areas, so Florida election workers have been forced to reproduce their contents onto new ballots that can be read properly, the observer said. As the votes are counted for the first time, West has taken a slim lead.
It’s a separate issue from what’s happening in St. Lucie County, where West has demanded a recount over “disturbing irregularities.” He filed a motion Wednesday to have paper ballots counted and to impound voting machines and all paper ballots cast, WFOR-TV reported.
The observer called St. Lucie County more Republican in makeup while Palm Beach County is a mix but overall Democratic.
“The fact that he is ahead, period, even in this county is a good sign,” the observer said.

US forces like National Guard should be assigned to stand watch at every polling place from opening until closing at which time they lock the place down and impound all ballots and equipment until an impartial count is conducted.
In Washington State the democrats conducted three recounts in 2004 and mysteriously found more boxes full of ballots each time. Finally they took it to a judge with an ear ring who declared them the winner.
I wish more Repubics would fight back instead of trying to be the nice guy all the time. This is war, and Congressman West understands that fact. I hope and pray he wins!

Every vote in OH, FL, VA, OH shoudl be looked at again as these results do not make sense

Not sure that it matters the outcome. Col West has a great future in the Republican Party (or the Libertarian Party for that matter).

The COL should be as you said plus Broward and Dade always wait till other counties report in thus they then know how many votes they need plus they gave out ballots to people in line outsdie withut checking ID’s and we have no way of knowing who voted in those two Dem counties.

Here’s my take on voter fraud. IT HAPPENS. The only way to stop it is to go to a finger scanning, ID card checking method of casting ballots. That way no matter where you are in the states, you can scan your finger, show your id and then vote. The technology is there, hell, Disney uses it so people can’t loan their annual passes to other people. So if Disney can use it, so could our pathetic voting process where, sorry about this, but grandma and gramdpas take forever to find your name and there is nothing from preventing someone from taking your voting card or signing on the wrong line. We have to come up with a sure fire way to cast a valid-fool-proof-ballot.

Next election the Republican Party ought to have a standing reward of $100,000 for information that leads to the exposure of Democratic Party vote fraud schemes.Just publishing the details on a web site would put a crimp in them. ( Forget about the Holder justice dept. prosecuting anyone.) Even if they paid out $20,000,000 it would have had much more effect than $20,000,000 worth of ads or robocalls.

all the polls had Romney up even Dems had FL going for Romney ,. I saw the lines and stcikers and signs and talked to folks and trust me he did not win this state and then there is others out in WI, OH , VA which are saying the same.

I agree. I think early voting is total BS, except in cases of the infirm or elderly. Allowing anyone to vote when they want is ridiculous. It is the most precious right that we hold. If you can't find a way to make it to the ballot box on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November, then tough crap. I know the arguments, I too travel for work, but I make damn sure I'm home on election day. Early voting allows someone to be in possession of ballots for an indefinite period of time and that is an invitation for fraud.
Mandatory ID, only citizens on the voter rolls and no early voting is the only way to regain legitimacy in our election process.

Remember there was an 8-1 ratio in monetary support for Murphy, those same people who funded him are not going to sit on their duffs and accept a loss. Its going to ping pong back and forth and end up decided by a mysterious box of lost ballots that were in the trunk of someone from the DNC.

Were odd sized ballots given mostly to Repub. voters? Also, I understand many of the voting machines/scanners were the old Venezuelan/Smartmatic/Diebold type, which can be hacked.

Just finished reading The Case of the Missing White Voters By Sean Trende over on RCP. Basically, as he posits, we are somehow missing 5 million white folks from the total vote over 2008. He uses exit polling data, which is sketchy at best, and also arrives at the conclusion all other categories rose slightly.
If I were king for a day, I’d have all the votes in swing states recounted starting tomorrow. As far as I know, only one FLA district has needed to recount.
The whole result seems very odd to me. But, I’m a conservative and I see dead people (and illegals) voting, everywhere. There’s no proof, they always say. Well, voter fraud isn’t done with the intention of leaving a big fat trail behind when there is no re-validation of the counts performed.
