Mark Levin Gives "Unvarnished Truth" On Romney Loss
RealClearPolitics ^ | 11/7/2012 | Mark Levin

Posted on 11/08/2012 4:34:19 PM PST by mojito

MARK LEVIN: We conservatives, we do not accept bipartisanship in the pursuit of tyranny. Period. We will not negotiate the terms of our economic and political servitude. Period. We will not abandon our children to a dark and bleak future. We will not accept a fate that is alien to the legacy we inherited from every single future generation in this country. We will not accept social engineering by politicians and bureaucrats who treat us like lab rats, rather than self-sufficient human beings. There are those in this country who choose tyranny over liberty. They do not speak for us, 57 million of us who voted against this yesterday, and they do not get to dictate to us under our Constitution.

We are the alternative. We will resist. We're not going to surrender to this.

You people must not have ever studied under communists. Communism for the world was inevitable. There was simply no arguing with them. As sure as the sun came up, the world was going to be communist. Then, China and Russia started fighting. Then Vietnam invaded Cambodia. The Soviet Union fell apart. China doesn’t look anything like the old China of Mao. What happened? Well, it turns out that communism wasn’t inevitable. The grifters who thought they could do better under communism turned out to just be grifters. There is no inevitability out there for the United States. We just have grifters who think they can make money talking about inevitability. We have grifters running the Democrat party. You want to know what’s inevitable? The grifters get found out, that’s what’s inevitable.

The Great one spent allot of time putting Romney down. I believe he also compared him to a tin can? He should have kept his mouth shut.

“Most of us conservatives have God. They have rampant drug abuse ...”

God who teaches us disclipine and morality and that there’s good and evil.

We worry that the herd of animals can become a voting majority and install a ruinous government. Our hope is that the herd will be the weakest, dumbest part of the population and that that will limit their voting power and their ability to sustain themselves. Also, the government they vote into office won’t be able to sustain itself.

“Not true, 35% of the country claims to be Conservative, 41% Moderate and 24% off of their rocker - Romney didn’t articulate fiscal conservatism very well.”

Cher probably thinks she is a conservative. Nancy Pelosi truely believes she is a moderate... the mentally deficient over at DUmmy land, however, proudly consider themselves part of the last category.

Self-proclaimed conservatives are usually no such thing. I think Reagan, the greatest conservative of them all, was just a moderate.

Romney lost for three reasons.

#1 - He was already known to be a moderate and did not inspire the base conservatives.

#2 - He is a Mormon. Personally I don't care what religon a politician practices as long as they have integrity BUT there were a large number of "Christians" that couldn't bring themselves to vote for him.

#3 - He could not carry the population centers. The states that carry the large number of electoral votes will vote Democrat every time UNLESS the another candidate can convince them otherwise. Romney could not do that.

Perhaps a good start would be producing nothing.

Far be it from me up Canada way to venture forth but I was thinking along certain lines.

How many times in recent history have ordinary people been intimidated by those who are the merchants of guilt? Affirmative action and the rest of it.

Since the people who really are the movers and doers of society, are white working class and white lower middle class, they have an untapped power. The administrative class, the politicians, the bureaucrats, are all very productive in their way (maybe). Take away the services and they are reduced to helplessness.

I see how the twin cities where I live at the Ontario-Michigan border, manage to survive old man winter. It is the power and service people, the snow plow people, the people who get out there in a frozen morning. Medical people, store clerks and many others.

If ever those people, or even one quarter of them, decided they were being treated as second class citizens and refused to work for one day or two...... oh well perish the thought!

Your post regarding Winston Churchill.

Yet somehow they kicked him to the curb and voted for the socialist quick as they could.....

How I do remember. It was the press. All conceded that the depression of the 1930's was a blot on human existence. This was so in America. The big cold chilling fear was unemployment. England worked and the war drove up employment.

The Sunday newspaper published a cartoon of a poor, gaunt woman. She was on her knees scrubbing a floor. Her thin face was strained. Churchill and his crew would bring this back, was the inference. Maybe the hard old rotters of the Tory party were best removed. Younger Conservative people were coming to the fore.

I came back from National Service overseas, when Churchill got back in after five years. Unemployment? Jobs were plentiful when I left five years later. The leftist press had absolutely labelled Churchill with deliberate unemployment policies. All speculation and lies.

Chicago style politics —you can’t win if the election is close. It has to be a blow-out or they will find a way to “win.” I think they knew they had it in the bag for awhile. Why would a president show up for a debate completely unprepared if he thought he was in the fight of his life? Why would a vice-president do his best Nicholson Joker impression if he thought he was in danger of losing an election? It all seems suspicious now.....

Agreed. So, what next? When Levi says we have to resist, he is short on specifics. I don’t think any country would allow my husband and me to immigrate because of our age, but if things continue to go downhill, I hope our kids and grandchildren can find a place where there is still some freedom. I just don’t know where that is.

I think they knew they had it in the bag for awhile.

Very similar to the Missouri Senate race.
They got the candidate they wanted to run against.

The Great one is the only talk show host I will listen to. He tells it like it is, unlike so many of the others.
And he’s not trying to entertain...He is BRILLIANT.

Hannity and his liberal callers,,ie Velma. Come on. What a joke.
And Beck giggling on with Stu and Pat. What a waste of time.
The rest are back benchers.
Oh, and I do like Mark Belling in Milwaukee..He’s a sub for Rush sometimes.

Rush seems scattered lately. I have trouble listening to him..He doesn’t seem to have his thoughts together.
I’ve heard that his hearing loss is a bigger issue for him that he lets on.
