I sure hope he doesn’t get foisted upon us by the early primary states. Surely we can do better.

I will be very surprised if he’s still in office by the end of next year. The GOP may primary him and, even if they don’t, his new democrat party “pals” will certainly run someone against him. In a state that blue he’s toast. Just look at Scott Brown.

You actually bring up a very good point in a round about way. Why participate in Iowa and NH primaries and let them have so much influence on the nominating process? Republicans let states that vote Dem pick their nominee. The Stupid Party strikes again.

No worries, Christie is living in his NE corridor bubble. He’s done with the conservative base. Actually, I think it was doubtful he could have been nominated had his slobber act had not occurred. Conservatives haven’t trusted him from the get go.
