Elections Have Consequences

#1 Cancel your cable. You’d only be supporting the MSM that lied and defended Obama to the tooth and help secure his re-election. I cancelled my cable and saved $1000 from going to Hollywood and the MSM.

#2 Get some business card printed up that say “Obama’s government has taken all of my money and I am unable to leave you a tip. You might try calling the White House at: (phone number) and ask Obama for your tip.” Leave this on the table whenever you go out to eat at restaurants or places where tips are customarily given.

#3 Before hiring anyone to do work on: your car, lawn, house cleaning, home repair, etc., ask them who they voted for. If they either won’t tell you or say “Obama,” tell them “Sorry I can not trust your judgment when it comes to matters of national important, how could I trust your judgment when it comes to my car, house, etc....”

As Obama said in 2008,”Elections have consequences.”

This is insanity. #2 is just an affront to working people — think how a “waitress mom” would feel after you stiffed her. #3 is the very definition of a false equivalency. I don’t give a flying rat’s petootie who the landscaper or arborist or roofer voted for. Their judgment about politics has nothing to do with their judgments on the job. Finally, #1 is across the board overkill and sends no message at all. If you want to change things, try thinking positive actions rather than negative.

“And you can tell their political affiliation just by looking at them.”

usually you can tell by looking (purple hair, multiple piercings, stupid oriental tattoos on their legs etc.....)

and sometimes you can tell by smell (patchouli oil, reefer, the stench of “occupy”)

in today’s age, it’s getting easier to tell someones affiliations by simply waiting for them to open their mouth (uh well, yes sir, it’s like ummm, such a good dish, yeah)

Leave a generous tip and a note stating:

“This generous tip is from a hard working CONSERVATIVE Republican. No government built this tip. This is how free enterprise works.”

Stop going out to eat..or if you do..have your drinks before at home and cut the bill. That’s what we retired people do. Or invite your friends to dine in..cheaper and quiet.

Like what?

Try and give the guy a break. He's angry and tired of being the reasonable nice guy. He has a right to be angry! It may not last. We may all begin to feel resigned to our fate and quietly accept our situation. But I think its ok to want to be a jerk for a little while! Libs get to walk around and be completely insane lying jackwagons 24/7 but we can't be snippy for a few days.. 'cause people might not like us? After all the great things our party has done in the past for minorities, women, young adults, and working people... most still despise us. Its not like he was suggesting we blow up a bridge like those adorable little Occupy rascals.

As jobs are immediately being impacted by this election the OP has a point. I lost my job due to Obama care before the election and others are after. My new job is in limbo due to the election. There is a cost and I’m not happy... In fact I’m a little angry and tired of playing nice. I don’t agree with OPs three bullets except for patronizing businesses that are pro liberty.

... As the economy grows worse under Obama’s ‘’leadership’’, I’m going to lord it over a liberal. That liberal, or rather liberals will be my two younger brothers and one of my younger sisters who voted for this clown...

My answer to a liberal when they start whining they can't get a job or things cost too much or whatever is the following:

"Rush warned you about this."

Just using the name of Rush Limbaugh pisses them off so much they immediately shut up. Works every time.

#4. Get really, really angry and tell a Democrat You nasty smell.
#5. Tell someone--preferably your mother--that you're going
to hold your breath until you turn blue. When you must breathe again, repeat your threat. That'll show them.

This whole post is worthy of the Democrat Underground.

I understand your anger—believe me, I feel it too.

However, I worked as a waitress at two places in college (including the night shift at an IHop, dealing with drunk students coming out of the bars), and I can’t get on board with this particular idea.

People who wait tables work very hard—and they rely on tips for most of their income. Plus, your waiter or waitress may have voted for Romney-Ryan.

This whole election has been an unbelievable disaster. I never expected this outcome.

All the best, veritas2002. :)

It would be a better idea to make up cards that read...

” Thank you for the service and for working hard for a living. Tips may be getting smaller these days due to all the tax increases. However, by not reporting your tips to the tax man, you can prevent the government from giving your hard earned money to those too lazy to work.”

I find this interesting that you should make the assumption that conservatives SHOULD fit into a cookie-cutter standard of appearance to meet a certain approval. It’s no wonder Conservatives send people running the opposite direction in droves.

My 1/2 Asian, or “oriental” as you deemed it, daughter voted for the first time yesterday. Almost 19 years old, has strong moral convictions, has already completed her first choice of post-secondary education and will use that education to work her way through college along with a scholarship achieved. She is a proud American, and has a good relationship with God.

She changes her hair color more often than most people change their bed-linens, has a facial piercing, and tends to wear clothing that are a little out of the ordinary (very well covered, though).

Odds are, you’d guess her to be a liberal.....

If we continue on this path of being so darned judgemental, do you really think Conservatives will even have the opportunity to restore America? I am so ticked off at people like you and me right now. We have to stop this crapola.

If we can live as examples and allow people to “Come As You Are”, rather than spitting in their faces, maybe we would have the chance to straighten out the minds that have been bent to the left.

I am so sick and tired of being mad. We do this to ourselves.

I think your anger is, though understandable, misplaced. The waiter/waitress is WORKING!!!!!!! The waitress is trying her best to get ahead in life and achieve the America Dream. If you can afford to eat out and the service is completely satisfactory you should be leaving a bigger tip... the lesson being that hard work pays off.

Otherwise, you come off as an a$$clown and imprint the Democrat philosophy on the server: Why work hard dealing with obnoxious a$$clowns such as yourself while standing on my feet for 12 straight hours when I can just say screw it and get government money for sitting at home watching the Flintstones?

I teach in a very rural school district (Yeah I am a very conservative public school teacher, go figure) My students are very conservative and out of the 60 plus students I have this year only one of them expressed the slightest support for Obozo. These kids are not the most "cultured" most drive trucks or jeeps and wear jeans and flannel to school every day. Some even have blue or red hair. But they are very very conservative. And even though I try to get them to stop saying Ummm or Ahhhh when they start a conversation, some still do.

#1 Cancel your cable.

A 'hint' for all, most cable companies will have a basic/basic service - that isn't advertised anywhere - you need to ask.

We pay under $8 a month for basic/basic cable - it's only local channels (most will offer this because satellite providers didn't have local channels)
Bonus*when the cable company has "free preview" weekends - you do too.

All tv programs and brand new/old movies can be watched on the internet.
Starve the Beast.

I agree with you’re point. It’s stupid to do that to a working person. I should have said I agree in the spirit of what he meant and to elaborate, as the economy worsens and it will,Obama now feels omnipotent in his power and he will make things worse, at every turn shove this right back in some liberals face. Yeah, they won. And they won it all, it’s theirs. Every down turn in the market, every industrial plant to pizza parlor that goes under is theirs, they own it. The liberal will scream at us as being’’ heartless conservatives who want Obama to fail’’ And they’d be damn right. But no one needs to want Obama to fail;he’s capable of failure all on his own. If this sounds like a ‘’scorched earth’’ attitude, so be it. Like all of us here I’m shocked and heartbroken. But there’s an anger rising in me and it’s going to be directed at every stinking liberal I run into. I’m going to bug the Hell out of the local paper(The Asbury Park Press, a liberal rag) here with letters and e-mails, till they get tired of me. ‘’Forward’’? They’ll come to rue that nonsense. Enough weeping. It’s time to gird the loins and fight.
