Elections are over... time to celebrate? -a note to my Obama-lovin' children
Multiple sources

Posted on 11/07/2012 11:29:01 PM PST by whiterhino

Here's an email I sent to my kids in school who love you know who...

Well the elections are over and the winner is Obama. He's popular, he's cool, he's black (as long as being 50% white, 45.35% arabic, and 4.65% African is "black"), and you like his social issues maybe (another topic for another time), but if you really care about YOUR future as much as I do about you... just for a moment.. read on:

Obama won, but Obama might be the only winner yesterday...

Instead of winning, You and I will get to experience continued rising energy prices (the gas for your car), rising insurance rates, rising prices because of his regulations, etc.

This is all money that can no longer be spent on you.

I did a little research tonight, just me and Google, here is just some of what we get from another 4 years from Obama:

LAYOFFS, REGULATIONS AND ENERGY

Layoffs are now coming: http://www.freedomworks.org/blog/grusbf5/good-morning-america-heres-those-layoffs-you-voted

His Regulations will cost more $ for all of us: http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2012/03/red-tape-rising-obama-era-regulation-at-the-three-year-mark

His Energy policy: Costing American Jobs, Increasing Energy Prices: http://naturalresources.house.gov/roadblocks/

DEBT GOES UP, YOUR DOLLAR WORTH-LESS

Obama added 1/3rd of our national debt in a 3.5 years with no plan to stop spending (obamacare alone will add 1.5 trillion) http://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/economy-a-budget/259671-putting-obamas-53-trillion-in-debt-in-perspective

Besides Obamacare, every year now, Obama and the "no budget" congress will spend 1 trillion more than revenue: http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/budget_pie_gs.php

HEALTH COST GO UP, LESS COVERAGE FOR ALL:

Health insurance premiums increasing 19%: http://www.forbes.com/sites/aroy/2012/10/30/in-colorado-obamacare-to-increase-individual-insurance-premiums-by-19-says-obama-adviser/

Medical care rationing is on the way - proposed by an Obama advisor http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/17/opinion/health-care-reform-beyond-obamacare.html?_r=0

Actual rationing has begun to help pay for obamacare: http://www.kaiserhealthnews.org/Stories/2012/July/25/medicaid-cuts.aspx

Senior's Medicare Plan D premiums to rise eventually to 20% higher according to the Congressional Budget Office (page 3) http://www.cbo.gov/sites/default/files/cbofiles/ftpdocs/105xx/doc10543/08-28-medicarepartd.pdf

The popular guy won, if only I could say that for the rest of us...

Love, Your dad

In general, I liked Mitt’s campaign, and I hate to pile on now, but these are the issues I REALLY wish he would have focused on.

When Paul Ryan was brought on board, I was hoping we would have a serious discussion about entitlement reform and spending cuts. Never really materialized though.

They decided to play it safe, and now not only did we lose the election, we didn’t move that debate forward either.

Where did you get this? (as long as being 50% white, 45.35% arabic, and 4.65% African is "black")

Overall good letter, but your kids may not have read past that.

Entitlement reform and spending cuts on social programs are
the absolute “third rail” of politics. Reality and math don’t matter
to those getting $$$$ from ANY .gov source. If you even hint
that you believe spending on these programs must diminish in
any way and you have committed political suicide. Greed doesn’t even
understand that math is real let alone that it dooms us all by it’s
inexorable truths.

If anyone ever comes to my door with their hands out and I know they voted for obama, I will slam the door in their face. And I mean ANYBODY.

These people voted for him knowing exactly what they’re going to get. Just filling their gas tank should have told them. So they deserved everything that’s coming their was. If they didn’t pay attention, then they REALLY deserve it.

from Answers.com among other sources:

Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother’s side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father’s side, a great-great grandparent. His ancestors on his father’s side were Arab slave traders. They operated under an extended grant from Queen Victoria, who gave them the right to continue the slave trade in exchange for helping the British defeat the Madhi Army in southern Sudan and the Upper Nile region.

Obama voters don’t care.

As long they get their benefits, the future of this country is of no concern to them.

They want here and they want it now. We are a nation of adult children.

No Republican candidate who promises cutting people’s benefits is going to get elected. Its not rocket science.

If given a choice between the guy who offers you ice cream and the guy who offers who you broccoli, the outcome every time is no surprise.

The ice cream guy wins and this year he was Obama.

“These people voted for him knowing exactly what they’re going to get. Just filling their gas tank should have told them.”

Price of oil dropped $4 yesterday, after O’s re-election. Funny thing, that. Seems Wall Street has a different idea about what makes oil go up and down.

“Obama added 1/3rd of our national debt in a 3.5 years with no plan to stop spending.”

Let’s take a little responsibiity here. Ultimately, it’s Congress that passes the budget each year, and determines government spending and deficits, not the president. And Congress keeps spending more than it takes in because WE want it to. Because we want all the benefits without paying the bills.

We’ve been on a spending spree for at least 30 years, and only for the smallest fraction of that time did we actually take in enough revenue to pay for it. When we realized that we promptly gave ourselves a tax cut and increased our spending too, of course. Congress keeps behaving outrageously because we only will elect people to Congress who tell us that we don’t have to pay our bills, that we can spend all we want and cut our taxes too. We believe in magic, and will continue to believe until the wheels come off.

Tough love isn’t going to happen.

Entitlement reform isn’t going to happen because no Republican candidate is going to cut people on the dole off. They can vote against the guy who threatens their security.

With the demographics shifting, its uphill now for conservatives in this country. The Reagan Coalition is now dead.

I was talking about the Parent and his Children.

I understand that we are faced with more Takers than Makers.

My Brother's B-I-L is on Disability due to Arthritis and Heart Disease. He told my Brother that he was Voting Obama because Romney would take away his Disability Check. My Brother could not dissuade him one bit.

He is an old guy, not a kid looking for a free iPhone. He actually believed that Romney would leave him helpless.

I'm afraid there is no hope for our Country when even the old folks with Life experience believe such nonsense.

So what percentage of African Negro makes someone black? For that matter, what percentage of Caucasian makes someone white?

Is it Congress that “controls the purse”. I know that is what it SAYS but how long now has there “been no budget”. No one cares.

I would definitely cut off any monetary help to any child of mine that voted for this guy.

None of this “but their your children” BS either. They did the voting equivalent of putting a gun in my back. Let them see how well they can keep their fantasy land going with a crap job and real bills.

children living with parents while older, four generations ago when this was an agrarian culture in the South it was looked upon as the good life.

Now that leaving home for a job in that factory up North is no longer an option we must learn to do more with less and less with more.

During the depression one rural family could easily make a living tending 15 acres of cropland with a good half acre family garden. Dig a root cellar cut some firewood and brew some moonshine and brush your tooth before you went to bed and keep the Churches open and full.

I like having my grown children living underfoot. One schoolteacher, a doctor, a medical student, an engineering student, a business major, a stay at home son who likes video gaming, and two high schoolers who like to fight and make loud noises on the floor above my living quarters.

I am happy. I have 330 acres of cropland and by my calculations enough to let each child farm about 40 acres and still keep a little for myself. We also have 120 acres of pasture land with a 40 cow calf operation. Did I mention we have chickens?

Looking for some mules for when the oil runs out. The horse drawn stuff may make a come back.

Stocked up on guns and ammo when Bill Clinton was fresh enjoying tumescence
without pharmaceutical help back in the early 90’s.

We are woefully unprepared for lights out. Look at Katrina and Sandy.
