With my heart I totally agree with you. With my brain I see that the conservative movement is shrinking and has to reach out somewhere.
Romney received 2 1/2 million fewer votes than McCain
Obama was 10 million votes shy of 2008
The numbers point to less people approving Obama’s policies, and we couldn’t field a candidate that could match McCains pitiful performance.
Please can anyone explain how this is a repudiation of Conservatism?

Look at the numbers and use a little common sense.
Turns out that my little township had some of the highest turnout in the state. Just over 70% at my precinct and 69% at the other precinct in this township. However, turnout was down some 20% for the county which did go for Romney.
