Rebuke well deserved. In all seriousness this is a time for prayer not levity, and for those that can, a time to roll up their shirtsleeves (or if you live too far away your wallets) and help as you can.

It is a shame how little help FEMA and other agencies end up being in the midst of a disaster. It is however always encouraging to see some good old fashioned American spirit though. I know Idaho Power is sending two crews to help try and get the power grid back up.

I agree with the prayers, the volunteer work, and; I agree with Romney and you on sending money to help. I think we all should be thankful that New Yorkers and those in New Jersey, etc. are at least not like we saw during Katrina. Yes, there are always some bad apples. I am amazed to see so many willing to work hard on their own.
