I agree with about half of what you’re saying. The gop is useless. One good thing to come out of this is that they’ll probably go the way of the Whigs. 20 years late, but better late than never.
The problem though is that the efforts to replace the gop at the Federal level are a waste of time. We saw what the majority of the American electorate wants: a welfare check. That is simply irreconcilable with conservatism. When you have irreconcilable differences, it’s time to be thinking about a divorce.
Did you guys ever come up with a definition of what that goofy “47%” meant, how it was defined?
Is it based on receiving government checks, like social security?
