Washington, D.C. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) released the following statement after Senate Democrats won enough seats to guarantee they would hold the majority in the 113th Congress:
Now that the election is over, its time to put politics aside, and work together to find solutions. The strategy of obstruction, gridlock and delay was soundly rejected by the American people. Now, they are looking to us for solutions.
We have big challenges facing us in the months ahead. Democrats and Republicans must come together, and show that we are up to the challenge.
This is no time for excuses. This is no time for putting things off until later. We can achieve big things when we work together. And the middle class is counting on us to achieve big things in the months ahead.
That is what the American people expect and that is what the American people deserve.
You’re not alone - not one red cent from me for any organization supporting hurricane Sandy relief efforts. If they could vote in a tent by flashlight for more socialism, they can live off cold beans and dirty water while looters steal what little they have. Just my simple opinion.
First order of business after the 2008 election was cap-n-trade, not slobs that want jobs. Enviro-NGO’s throw the richest cocktail parties.
Now what’s Harry Reid’s first order of business => carbon tax. Enviro-NGO top the list of priorities. Again, not slobs that want jobs.
He’ll never live out his term. Just take a look at the little weasel. Heart attack city DEAD ahead! And good riddance you little commie prick!
And if you own a business, refuse to hire any Obama supporters. PERIOD.
They want jobs? EFF them!
Yup that’ll teach them to support the GOP. It’ll teach them real good. Don’t ever let them taste “I built that” success.
” And oh by the way we still have a CONSTITIUTION.”
Reid is laughing at your last sentence there.
harry, bite me!
Having read some of the less than gracious victory comments by gloating Democrats in the Daily Kos, Yahoo, and the Huff Post chat rooms I don’t want to find common ground with these country-wrecking lefties. They need to be defeated, every last one of them. Last night I was shocked and today I’m pissed like all the rest of you and ready to take the fight to them.
