Doesn’t matter. Somehow the media will blame it on Republicans.
We all know this.
So why doesn’t our side actually do something, if we’re going to catch hell anyway? Drives me nuts.
All I’m saying is that the Bush’s helped get us in this mess. George HW quickly started undoing the Reagan legacy and gave us the Clintons. George W expanded government through prescription drug benefits, no child left behind, etc.
Yet another reason to despise the Bush branch of the GOPE as just another branch of Fabian Socialists.
The GOPE does (at the time) what the left could only dream of doing and then lets the left twist the publics understanding of it into something the left can campaign against. They get to have their cake and eat it too.
We might be beyond that time when the left needs to have the faux-right do their dirty work.
