Really clever American voters stick with Obama's failed status quo Passengers on the Titanic they are and they intend to buy passage on the Lusitania.

America was bought off. Obastard promised to be Santa Claus every single day of the year. The majority of them still believe the bad economy is Bush’s fault and if Obastard has 4 more years, he will fix it.

In his victory monologue, Obama praised Joe Biden as "the best vice president anybody could ever hope for." Failure has not only become acceptable, now it is rewarded.

Voters witnessed the end of Chris Christie's budding hopes for a national Republican career. His ill-timed, over-the-top effusive praise for a visiting POTUS after Hurricane Sandy was an obvious bid to buy Obama's silence next year when the New Jersey governor faces a real reelection challenge, likely from Newark Mayor Cory Booker. I for one will gladly donate to cc's opponent next year, if it will get his rino butt off the national stage for good..

Alexis de Tocqueville Quotes "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. ― Alexis de Tocqueville

On Nov. 6, the same day that saw the election of Abraham Lincoln and reelection of Ronald Reagan, they opted to reelect Barack Obama... 3 ILLINOIS PRESIDENTS:
Lincoln united a divided country. Reagan warned that liberty could be lost in a generation. Obama divided a united country.

It was after midnight when it became clear that Obama had won and Romney conceded, which made for a very fitting anniversary. Obama’s re-election became official on the 95th anniversary of the Bolshevik takeover of Russia.

I don’t agree. Voters make rational decisions. They might not be objectively rational, but they are individually rational and maximizing.
Barring vote fraud, the electorate in an amazing series of events across critical “swing states” rejected the message/promise of Romney/Ryan. I suspect that it is the same psychology that elected FDR over and over again.
People want the Mommy Party and right now they don’t trust the Daddy Party to save and protect them. Look at Nevada where voters went with Heller while rejecting R/R. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/nov/06/berkley-heller-battle-expected-be-closest-night/
How is it he lost all the close races?
