Voters witnessed the end of Chris Christie's budding hopes for a national Republican career. His ill-timed, over-the-top effusive praise for a visiting POTUS after Hurricane Sandy was an obvious bid to buy Obama's silence next year when the New Jersey governor faces a real reelection challenge, likely from Newark Mayor Cory Booker.

I for one will gladly donate to cc's opponent next year, if it will get his rino butt off the national stage for good..

We had a good Tea Party candidate, Steve Lonegan, run against Christie in the primary.

RINO Christie won of course, but Lonegan stayed politically active and runs the Americans for Prosperity chapter here in Joisey.

I don't know if Lonegan will run again against Christie. The usual rap against true conservatives --"they can't win in NJ"-- was used against him.
