He who robs Peter to pay Paul, can count on Paul’s enthusiastic support.

At least until it dawns on Paul that this is a game of diminishing returns.

Silly me, I thought the Cubans in Florida fled to escape communism, I guess they really came here to import it.

Well, this should kill the myth of “Marco Rubio will bring in the Hispanic voter” nonsense. The Cuban voters started going Democrat in the 90’s....and the GOP enjoyed a slight reprieve when Clinton/Reno kidnapped Elian Gonzalez and sent him back to Cuba

The GOP needs to dump the myth of the “Hispanic Voter”. You can offer all the social services and Illegal Alien Amnesty possible...but the Dems have that group tied. Marco Rubio nor Marco Polo will change that

It makes more sense for the GOP to go after the 40% White voters (nationally) who voted for Obama.

It wasn’t Paul Ryan, it wasn’t even Mitt Romney. Look at the map. It was those who believe government is the solution against those who don’t. Period.

It wasn’t the Hispanic vote, Texas and Arizona have as many Hispanics as anyone. It wasn’t the female vote. The whole heart of the country, which went for Romney has as many women.

The dirty ugly truth is that the left coast and North East have more voters who believe in government solutions than the rest of the country, so they win.

Not until that truth is accepted and dealt with, a way forward cannot be identified.

Your analysis is spot on

And, a Marco Rubio as VP would have given Arizona to the Dems, and made Texas closer. Mexican-Americans are not fond of Cuban-Americans...nor are other Hispanic-American groups fond of Cuban-Americans. Good Grief I wish this Rubio-pandering would stop

When 40% of whites vote for Obama...it totally supports what you pointed out. NE, West Coast liberals want government goodies...that isnt changing

I’m not so sure we need too many more minority votes. If Romney won the midwestern states of MN, PA, IA, WI, and OH, he would win even without FL, CO, NV, NM, and VA. Those midwestern states are 85% non-Hispanic whites. If Romney won just 60% of the white vote in those states, he would be President-Elect today.

We can’t ignore the latino vote, but I also don’t think we need to pander to them either.

So I guess the Big One and another Sandy are in order? I wouldn't be surprised if it comes to that.

Color of skin. FACT!

Elites both left and right don’t get this. Its only something those of us who have been raised around minorities in the hood or where ever. People of color stick together regardless of any other thing around them.

Yes. They did come to escape communism, but their children and grandchildren came to enthusiastically embrace it.

Careful what you wish for. Those people who didn’t vote break 2-1 for Dems according to Pew.

I do not believe the exit polls....any of them.

I firmly believe we have just been the victims of the biggest fraud in the history of mankind.

I refuse to believe that the American people were energized to vote for President Obama yesterday.

This election could be a script from a movie, therefore, I am starting to believe it was designed as such.

I think it is far more likely that a plan has been in the works to corrupt this cycle since 2010.

Multiple blue states voted for every Democrat in statewide races by a similar count as what President Obama gained in that state.

States that typically split their statewide vote went 100% Democrat for every statewide race. That can only come from straight party-line voting.

If you wanted to demoralize your opponents, and had the ability, you would arrange the votes in a few safe districts within a few states to overwhelm the other party’s safe districts, regardless of turnout.

Then, you would ensure the exit polling contradicted everything your opponents believe, everything they expect and everything they support.

At that point, your opponents would turn on each other, re-think their beliefs and dissolve into irrelevance.

Who would have thought that four years ago, the United States would elect a man who served only 40 months in the US Senate to the White House? Who would have thought his background, his history and his performance would be protected, minimized or dismissed over the course his first term?

If an evil alliance of socialists and islamists really exist in our world, could they have engineered such events?

Clinton-Castro 2016

Seems about right.

A "win at any cost" liberal, using the dead to help her win.

What could be more traditional than that?

I agree with JEB on the HISPANIC ISSUE...Florida, and Texas and Georgia and Arizona and Kansas will soon be blue states. We need to rebuild the GOP. And soon... the TEA PARTY went down to defeat BIG TIME yesterday!!

Exactly. As long as 40% of non-hispanic whites vote for leftist, unconstitutional government, this country is doomed. This figure is even more scary when you account for sex.

It only takes one traitor to open the castle’s gate during a siege. We have many times that who are willing to sup with the enemy while their forces pillage our land.
