Harry Reid has yet to pass a budget. Why do we allow these criminals to continue?

These rules will only be in effect until the Republicans get the majority again. Even the Democrats in the past have been careful not to do this. I suspect Reid is just trying to show he cares about his voters. Nothing will come about this because the Democrats know it will come back and haunt them.

...“I think that the rules have been abused and that we’re going to work to change them,” he told reporters.

And if that doesn’t work Obama will govern by Executive Order... or Edict... Who’s going to stop him now?

Oh, I see, he’s showing how bipartisan he wants to be. You remember how Republicans always prostitute ourselves to those sacred “Independents” who simply worship bipartisanship? But apparently, Democrats, with their corrupt MSM allies, don’t seem to care about bipartisanship. Imagine that.

The party of Obama continues to destroy the Constitution.

Hey Nevada...I am continuing my boycott of your economy that started when you re-elected that MORON Reid in 2010.

Harry, the country wants priorities. Where's that Budget?! And you're a lying bastard about filibusters ...

Democrats and the filibuster

Thus, what can only be described as a concerted judicial-filibuster campaign during the 108th Congress was truly unprecedented. Indeed, throughout the entire history of the U.S. Senate, neither the minority-party members in that chamber nor senators of the party that did not occupy the White House had ever before engaged in such a coordinated, protracted filibustering campaign to frequently deny up-or-down votes for one judicial nominee after another. In fact, beyond the 10 appellate-court nominees who were actively filibustered in 2003 and 2004, it should further be noted that Democrats almost certainly would have filibustered additional circuit-court nominees — including Terrence Boyle, Brett Kavanaugh and Thomas Griffith — had they moved from the Judiciary Committee to the floor last year.

I remember when the Repub’s were in the the majority and talked about doing this it was a lack of respect for minority rights according to the Dims. So now Harry hates minorities.

Why not just dissolve the legislature and let Dear Leader rule by fiat? We’re pretty much already there and I tire of these scoundrels and their nonsense.

I figured the arrogance of the Dems would know no bounds if Obama won, and they kept the Senate. Stupidly, the Republicans will not challenge them in the House or the Senate, and Obama will rule by fiat.

The GOP had it's chance when the Tea Party helped them take the house and gave them what it would take to defeat the progressive machine. They didn't listen, they dissed the Tea Party in '10 and played miniliberal against the liberal machine of progressives.

Now they are a party without a dogma!

The liberal suppression of Republicans is now becoming open warfare, thanks to the linguini-spined GOP-E who have refused to climb into the gutter with the Dems and fight them mano-a-mano. This is what we get for not demanding better.

Since the left clearly does not want to work with Republicans, I believe that the Republicans should walk out of the Senate en mass every single day that this war on them continues. At some point, the Senate Dems will want them back; even if it is just to have their doormats back.
