We lost. But Palin still pulled out 2 new TP Senators: Deb Fischer and Ted Cruz

Fischer, 61, a state legislator, easily won in a state that has trended more conservative in recent years.

Elected to the Nebraska legislature in 2004, Fischer upset two better-known opponents to win the Republican primary. She will succeed retiring Democratic Senator Ben Nelson.

Fischer has said she favors repeal of President Barack Obama's healthcare reforms and supports passage of a balanced budget amendment. She also supports more oil drilling and construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, which would go through Nebraska.

Kerrey was elected governor of Nebraska in 1982. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1988, re-elected in 1994 and sought the Democratic nomination for president in 1992. He also served as member of a commission looking into the September 11 attacks.

Whatever Palin did was off my radar. Which apparently is broken because I thought that Romney would win.

Looks like I was wrong about Palin too according to Cruz.

Hey, I was wrong on both counts.

I never said Cruz was a liar by the way. I just did not see Palin as being the main reason he won. I'm still kinda surprised by that assertion but if the candidate himself said it how can I argue with that?

So I admit it seems I was wrong. I can admit that, well, because I am that cool and awesome:)

You got to be KIDDING me.

Cruz won due to his great campaign and Texas and Nebraska are deep red. Meanwhile we lost all the real swing state races. It was a huge huge opportunity and we totally wasted it.

sorry, those victories do not go to Sarah Palin alone, though she did add her support there

a big chunk of the Conservative GOP funding help from outside, and acting inside the party directly against the GOP-elite, came from U.S. Senator Jim Demint and his Senate Conservative PAC (which he set up on his own some years ago to go head to head against the RINO choices).

As a Conservative and a Senator Jim has been stepping out front, bucking the establishment, working for our new Conservative Senators often before anyone else, and although he has not done as much for his own public recognition as Sarah, she has been no where near the constant force on this issue - a more Conservative U.S. Senate - as Jim.

So, at least give credit where credit is due.

Deb’s win is significant. Because GOPE was trying to influence the primaries.

For Ted Cruz, as if I didn’t know what really happened. But nuff said. For Sarah being credited for Senator Elect Ted, well you should have questioned all the articles (red and blue controlled media) that came out when Ted won the primaries.

For the swing state ... what can I say. Obviously Romney dragged the ticket down.

But for Allen West’s loss ... the Redistricting of GOP/E-controlled FL Republican leadership should be blamed for it. They hated him.

sorry, but Jim was working on Cruz behalf before Sarah even knew who Ted was; yes, we’re glad she helped, and I’m happy she did, but Frankly, in the end, with the fiancial help from Jim to keep his campaign going, I think Ted would have won without her; he defeated his opponent IN rhe campaign not on endorsements - in my view

Memo to Palin, DeMint, et al.:

It’s time to set up an annual retreat for all potential Conservative Senate & House candidates. They shall be thoroughly trained on how to respond to provocative Lame Stream Media questions on rape & incest. Think of it as “Foot-in-Mouth Prevention Boot Camp”.

Ted Cruz won his race. He had a LOT of Texas supporters.

My point is larger than that.

It is expected for Cruz and Fischer to win. Red states.

What hurts is the many races we have LOST. Akin, Mourdock, Berg, Allen etc. Romney did NOT drag down IN and MO and MT. He won those states but the senate candidates still lost.

If Sarah helped in a primary, great, but that’s not the big deal. Winning in November is the big deal. if you dont win in Nov, you get a big heap o nothing.

“So, at least give credit where credit is due.”

Hear hear on this.

I am sick and tired of people attributing everything to Sarah Palin when it simply isnt true.

Palin was involved in, but removed from this race.

Palin emerges unscathed.

Ready I hope, and believe, to compete for our future.

At least Palin got two big winners.

You do realize Sarah has no political pull whatsoever and is nothing but a C-list reality TV star, right? She's not a candidate in 2016, she's not a candidate in 2020, she's not a candidate...

Take it from someone who actually walked precincts for Deb Fischer’s campaign (primary and general). I can attest at the ground level that Palin’s endorsement (especially in the primary) was important. Even Fischer COMMENTED TO ME PERSONALLY that Palin’s endorsement was a well-needed game changer.

(NE primary): One week before her endorsement, polite poker faces as I knocked on doors. One week after her endorsement, the mood change was far more receptive. Palin’s name came up in quite a few houses (that’s the VOTERS who brought up her name, not me) and I snagged a few volunteers in the process. So yeah, it was big.

Even Cruz stated that Palin’s endorsement was a game changer....and those two weren’t the only ones as I visited the political circuit rather extensively this year talking to campaign volunteers around the country. Trust me, from what I’ve heard in certain circles, come 2014, her phone will be ringing for help and she’ll be hitting the speaking circuit.

To all the naysayers out there who claim to be a conservative, you DO realize we’re in this together and it’s all hands on deck....right? We’ve just seen what it’s like when people get shoved out the door and we’re told to “sit down, shut up, be our bitch or get lost” from the RNC leadership. Remember RNC rules 12 and 16? Remember Romney and his advisers thinking they had the base in their pockets? Remember Palin getting the big snub? The crappy messaging and ORCA debacle? The folks who stayed home on friggin election night...AGAIN!!! The fact we got nearly three million less votes than McCain? Well, so much for the big friggen tent theory. AND PEOPLE STILL BITCH THAT PALIN BROUGHT NOTHING TO THE TICKET???? AND THEY STILL SHOVE SH*T to the base and say it’s cake (eat up you knuckle draggers).

Palin has moved into the pop-culture war (something I DON’T see with today’s GOP leadership) and she makes a buck out of it....SO WHAT you malcontents...she’s earned that buck and didn’t have to kiss Karl Rove’s butt. Palin has helped others get into the Senate/Congress/Governorships and the malcontents get cranky....SO WHAT!!!

If the RNC leadership wants to win in 2014/2016 they better start listening to the base, get up to speed with the social media, make the outreaches and stop f-ing around with the base. When the GOPe starts shoving conservatives like Palin, Bachmann, and West out the door they are saying to me that they don’t want my help. Okay big boys, message received.
