The Republican Party died last night and there will be no resurrection. The socialists have a firm grip on the mechanics of our government and are loading up their base for all future elections. I never will see a Republican president in my lifetime.

Take the time to read the comments from Lonsberry;s column on his website. Interesting.

Perspective please. Romney ran an absolutely awful campaign with 1 spectacular debate that kept him in striking distance.

Many of our Senatorial candidates were has-beens (Tommy Thompson), living in a sea of deep blue (Scott Brown) or just plain morons (Todd Akin).

So when we get past the grieving stage we will have tons of opportunities, starting in 2014, to take back the Senate and put a real Conservative on the ballot for 2016.

We have some awesome governors in the wings (fat man from NJ not withstanding), and after 8the years of this mess we can bury these liberal clowns for good.

Mourn and grieve as expected, and then lets get to taking back our country from these liberal fools.

Just my 2-cents.

GARBAGE!

The GOP and Romney foisted a candidate, Romney, on us that didn't share the principles or morals of the base of the party.

We got triangulated by the GOP Elites forced into a corner, and told we had no other choice than to vote for someone who didn't have a lick of limited Government credentials and who supported both Abortion and the Gay Agenda.

A man who sired both Gay Marriage and Socialistic HealthCare in America.

We were lied to about how conservative he was, and told to shut up.

The patriots of 1776 had a much harder path to follow than we do.

We only lose if we choose to continue with the battered wife routine with respect to the GOP Elite and their games.

We only loose if we, as conservatives, refuse to fight.

The GOPe are basically liberal lite. This article is wrong because the voters didnt vote for liberal. They voted for a man they thought was a decent guy, trying to be fair to the poor.

The voters DON’T HAVE A BLEEPING CLUE that Obama is using them to achieve a socialist do over, favoring equal outcomes no matter what for everyone, and a weakening of superpower status. He is am old school communist. The American voters don’t k ow this, and the media have told them its poppycock.

The Repubs ran a moderate who happens to be personally in his own life conservative and religious. The media painted him as a rich, unfeeling homophobe. The media created a completely fake War on Women and fooled all female American that their sex organs and being able to kill babies were the most important thing about them.

The GOP is afraid of conservative principles. They downplay them. They need to go.

We need a constitutional party, more open to Americans of all stripes, while teaching Americans that their stripes don’t matter, unifying all, whether they differ by looks or lifestyle. We need to teach people that living under an economically free, light government except for defense benefits all.

We need to drop all restrictions on personal lifestyles though. If we are Gdfearing, great, make sure we have religious freedom, but we need to win by fact and example. Let libs marry goats if they want. Serious: we need to forget about controlling people according to our desired lifestyle and let goodness win by example.

The worst thing is, demographics being what they are, we can’t get in the door of the White House or senate unless we do (feeling sick) another bleeping amnesty. The American people no longer seem to care about what illegal aliens are doing to our land, I see it and live it and this is a huge issue to me, but somehow we need to allow all the ones here a freaking (choke) pass to citizenship. And then close the f’ing borders.

I’m not sure there is another way.

satan and his minions won last night. Morals and candidates of moral value lost. The stoopid electorate voted for self-interest and evil be ignored. We are in for ultimate judgment, sooner not later.

Obama won because he took 5.1 million more votes in the under 30 demographic.

That’s obviously where we need to focus. The good news that in 2016 they will be 4 years older, paying taxes (if they can find jobs) and see what their health coverage looks like. People tend to become more conservative as they get older.

Post number 2 by bubbabasher tells the tale.

The Republican Party, the party of The Bushes, Bob Dole, John McCain and The Mittster, the party of indescribably stupid people like Akin and Mourdock, the party of selfish arrogant pricks like Chris Christie, the party that exists only to go along to get along, so long as there's an equity position to be found in any situation, died last night.

Oh it didn't? Well it fewking well deserved to. Not that it matters, but on my list to do today is to go change my registration to Independent, and then to ceremoniously BURN my Republican voter ID, never to change it back, "not never ever".

Then this weekend, discussion at home about how to weather the storm yet to come, or just face it now.

Best of luck to everyone...

“The Republican Party stopped being a nationally viable political organization.

Oh, it will continue to exist.

But it will likely never again truly contest for the presidency. The nation has changed, the values have been replaced, the demographics are different.

The demographics are insurmountable.

Last night was a tipping point, a dance on a razor’s edge, and it went the other way. What was undoable last night will become increasingly impossible with each passing year. The margins will grow, the base will shrink, the tide will turn and the day will pass.”

I have to agree. I have felt that way for a couple of election cycles. Sure, 2010 was a great night - but as one local commentator said “I wonder if 2008 was a realigning election anf whether 2010 was just a fluke?”.

I think we, as a nation, have now driven past the last exit ramp. We will reach a point where the minority pay for the majority. We will reach that point very soon. Racial and cultural demographics are strongly against the GOP too.

Like the author of this article, I believe we may never again see a Republican President.

This is sad in so many ways.

americas demographics are changing, and their changing to the left.

look for an even more skittish and fearful GOP, too afraid to oppose illegal immigration lest it offend hispanics even though they won’t get their vote anyway.

Oh please. Really people the panic is silly. Elections come, elections go. The GOP will almost certainly win the presidency in 2016, because after 2 terms America is pretty much sick of the president and his party. That’s why sitting VPs so rarely win, and why even when the VP doesn’t run their party loses. There’s no such thing as a permanent majority, because 1/3 is the mushy middle, and the primary belief of the mushy middle is that the guys currently in charge suck.

Conservatism has become a regional philosophy, the Republican Party a regional party. It will win governorships, it will win seats in the House or Senate, but it will essentially be a phenomenon of the South and Midwest.
Where traditional values endure and dwindle, the Republican Party will still be relevant.
But those places will shrink and shrivel. And each year, the gap between those who support conservatism and the number needed to win a national victory will grow.
Last night was conservatism’s last stand.
And it lost.
The Republican Party died last night.

Very sad but true epitaphs. It is hard for me this morning to accept the fact that Amerika is now officially one nation under socialist-marxist-islamic government as opposed to one nation under God. In 2008 America made a very stupid move by electing a communist agitator & muslim as our president, and over 50% of the voters last night heartedly re-affirmed that decision by rewarding the communist muslim pig 0bama with another 4 years. We (Christians, conservatives, patriots) are now in the minority as a reviled, scorned & persecuted minority with no protected class designation.

God forgive our nation and give us strength to endure to the end!

Last night’s award for “ON THE HEAD IN FEWEST WORDS” went to Advil1000.

Today’s goes to you for this EXCELLENT and CONCISE wrap up of what happened last night.

I was hoping that the PRODUCER segment of the US Society being relentlessly converted to CONSUMERS had not yet reached 50% + epsilon. (epsilon being any amount, even infintesimally, larger than zero)

Sadly, it has happened. The balance has tipped, nevermore to tip back.

Only more and more slugs will elbow their way to the public trough during the next four years, ensuring that by 2016, NOTHING recognizable about this Once Great Nation will
remain but it’s carcass, picked clean by the GIMMEEs.

Actually, my gut has been telling me this since the news reports started to appear that the slugs whose unemployment had finally run out had figured out how to collect disability (for the rest of their lives) instead.

The Republican party is filled with dem-lite, socialist-lite panderers and compromisers. At this point, even a Republican victory would be meaningless.

The GOP was on life support.

Last night, someone used the “Do Not Resuscitate” order and pulled the plug.

Pat Buchanan predicted this in one of his books, maybe State of Emergency. It played out just about how he said.

The Takers won. The producers lost.

No time to cry over spilt milk. Take care of yourself and watch the GOP held congress cave in on every demand.

The GOP was in bad shape long before this. Running a liberal, John McCain, against Obama was a huge mistake, and rather than realizing it and fixing the problem, the GOP decided they needed somebody even more liberal with Romney. A lot of us here predicted that the GOP could not win by running one liberal against another.

The scary thing is, the GOP is already lining up more liberal candidates to run in 2016. Jeb Bush and Rubio are having their names tossed about.

Unfortunately, the GOP has enough people who do what they are told like obedient little sheep, that they will be able to keep running these liberal Republicans and they will keep losing.

American ideals have become diluted by the influx of too many foreigners with foreign ideas and they have not assimilated. For example, too many Latinos still think like Mexicans instead of Americans, and the Republican Party can never do anything to appeal to them and retain Republican ideals. Until this country crashes and burns, some people will never learn, and some will never learn ever.

"Julia" won.

"America" is lost.

There is simply not enough time left to rebuild our historic moral and cultural foundations before an absolute American tyranny takes full control. What follows, starting now, will be a unrelenting, uncontrollable (by law, reason, or the shredded Constitution) vector rapidly descending our system into an oppressive political, economic, and social environment which is not an environment conductive for peaceful change.

In fact, one could make a convincing argument that it was Satan who won America last night. What Obama and the Liberal winners stand for and won on is contrary to every single one of the Ten Commandments. Read them, and consider..

1. “Do not worship any other gods besides me.”

2. “Do not make idols of any kind…”

4. “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy…”

5. “Honor your father and mother…”

6. “Do not murder.”

7. “Do not commit adultery.”

8. “Do not steal.”

9. “Do not testify falsely against your neighbor.”

10. “Do not covet... anything... your neighbor owns.”

Frankly, the converse of the above essentially comprises the platform of their political, cultural, and social agenda.

America wants Liberalism, at least the fantasy kind, where Kennedys and Martin Luther Kings righteously strive for equality all over the place, as long as these voting American’s don’t have to change or give up anything.

America wants government largesse, as long as their taxes don’t go up.

America wants jobs, jobs, jobs, as long as they don’t have to work.

America wants equality, as long as they get their perks, and those Wall Street types get sent to prison.

America wants a lot of things, but they are not going to like what they will really get.

Silly caterwauling.

While there is serious soul-searching to do, this election was very much like the 1948 elections, where Truman won by a few percentage points. The Republicans came back to win the next 2 presidential elections.

“The socialists have a firm grip on the mechanics of our government and are loading up their base for all future elections.”

Obama had a biased media, hollywood, academic elites and a billion dollar campaign PLUS billions in stimulus graft to grease his way to re-election.

What he lacked was a good record.
