So? What will change now? The Republicans will keep offering inoffensive losers and the Democrats will keep lying, cheating, and winning.

The Tea Party was a great thing but it didn't translate into anything effective enough to overturn squat.

If we couldn’t beat an incompetent failure like Barack Hussein Obama, we cant beat anyone. The demographics are against us. There are now more moochers and takers than producers, and they voted for their boy. The liberals have spent generations producing idiots in the public education system, and building a news/entertainment propaganda delivery system. The idiots bought the propaganda, and we have 4 more years of the Kenyan. We are beaten. Not just today, but in the future too. The demographics aren’t going to get better. Get used to slavery, debt, high taxes and bowing to terrorists. America is dead. Limbaugh, Levin, and the others can shut down now and retire on their millions, while the rest of us put on shackles. Nothing will save this Republic now.

Romney lost because he didn’t fight in the third debate. He could have buried Obama with Benghazi but chose the Karl Rove-endorsed “New Tone” that Bush adopted: never, ever fight Democrats, just play nice.

The tea party activism translated in getting the house back in 2010.

The problem in the meantime is $3 trillion in handouts to the 47% in the form of new gubmint debt.

The Tea Party was never a real party, just a loose association of people who had three common goals of advocates strict adherence to the United States Constitution, reducing U.S. government spending and taxes, and reduction of the U.S. national debt and federal budget deficit. And because they had too many radically unacceptable fringe elements, they were used by the Democrats to vilify and demonize the Republicans who did run with those sorts of leanings. Too few people stood up to call the Democrats on their lies during the campaign; assuming that the media would even publish them.

To the left, there was nothing inoffensive about Romney. He was a religious extremist that would make birth control and tampons(!) illegal, an evil big businessman who would raise taxes on the middle class, make people go hungry by cancelling food stamps, someone who hated brown people and thought women should be forced to stay at home and have child after child.

How would running someone less inoffensive help? The left owns the narrative. And you can’t win just pulling white male votes anymore.

Ok Republican leadership (you know who you are) you tried the RINO route 6 times now, Bush I, Dole, Bush II, McCain, Romney. You are 2 for 6 with this strategy with a squeaker in 2000 that you almost lost. In 2004 it comes down to Ohio another very close contest. Not a very impressive record if you ask me. What happended in 1994 and 2010 mid term elections. Why for the life of me you cannot capture what it was that made those work and translate that into a presidential year contest I cannot figure out. What’s the lesson here? You cannot be nice in politics, nice guys finish last..take it anyway you want. Politics is a dirty nasty business and the only way you get to implement your agenda is to win...there are no consolaiton prizes for the loser. The other side is practicing a scortched earth strategy on you and you act like you are going to some country club function that you can be gentlemenly like something out of a Victorian Novel. You keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect the same results. What did Einstein say about insanity?

So either you play the game to win and prepare yourself for a no holds barred bare knuckle brawl or forget it and fold up the tent and go home. Politics used to be played that way... As Sean Connery’s character Malone says to Elliott Ness in one of my favorite movies the Untouchables... “You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That’s* the *Chicago* way! And that’s how you get Capone. Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? I’m offering you a deal. Do you want this deal?”

Was Allen West one of your "inoffensive loser"s? Or just a loser?
